Huh. If not for the fact he looks nothing like him really, I keep thinking of Mr. Zsasz rather then Bane, though he was already (briefly) in the first movie. Still, long as they opt to use his original character interpretation as super intelligent and threatening crimeboss who just happend to be a massively strong brute it could work. Not feeling him as "just another strong thug" deal.

Still, I wish they would've gone for a full mask rather then a crazy guy mask, though then he might end up looking like Black Mask. Ah well.

Well, not a direct adaptation, but it wouldn't be out of the question to apply it at least in part. Granted, it's just a teaser, so who knows if anything like that even happens in the movie.

Question is if the teaser trailer will be anything more then a logo and title, or that rumored quick glimpse at Catwoman.

EDIT: Teaser will officially be around on Friday or so, but if you look hard enough...

That's generally what we got with The Dark Knight, except we got much, much less. Overall, good teaser. A good teaser is supposed to make me shit my pants with anticipation.

I'm pretty sure we got no footage whatsoever for the Dark Knight, just an out of context quote from Alfred with CG logo. So this is basically exactly the same, except with some actual footage.

I haven't seen the trailer, but a friend of mine has expressed... concerns... over how Bane sounds. I can't weigh in myself, yet, unfortunately.

Bane sounds awesome. His voice is very scary to me. The problem is that he is sometimes hard to understand (this is unfortunately exaggerated by others)

Aye, as expected, much better when not watched shadily. This is definitely some form of adaptation of Knightfall, but given how much Begins differed from what it was allegedly based on and had random other story elements tossed in, who can even say how this one will go.

It does look like Mrs. Wayne's necklace, doesn't it? (if that's what you were referring to) but didn't it break apart in Begins? I mean, I guess it could be fixed, but...

(if that's not what you're talking about, then we are on way different wavelengths. I was also thinking of Catwoman's very first appearance in Batman #1.)
