Origin of the green outfit

Or it could be a way to mark him as a hero, kind've like the Triforce mark tells the public that they're the ones with the peices, and...stuff >.> If it's not destiny that each hero wears green, then that's one helluva coincidence.

I really don't think it's as simple as to say that Link is destined to wear green by some strange twist of fate, that really doesn't have anything to do with him being the hero (as seen in TWW, the bonus second playthrough Link wears his islander clothes)


He is still wearing the tunic but only the honest can see it. And Link can't...

I've been reading through this, after playing through Three Dungeons of TMC and I've had a thought.

The Minish typically wear green (from what I remember of the game) and they were the ones who provided the mysterious "Light Force" and the Picori Sword, as stated in the intro.

Perhaps the Hero that received the Sword wore green as some kind of uniform provided by the Minish or as some kind of respect to the Minish?
