Yeah, I prefer to think that the Triforce of Power offers sufficient protection from the Master Sword. I don't like the idea that they could have killed Ganon in Ocarina of Time, but opted not to. (Okay, maybe they didn't know, but it still isn't very satisfying.)
I'm somewhat on the same lines. Preferably I think of the Master Sword as a weapon gives the good guys a fighting chance against an evil empowered by the Triforce.

Couldn't have said it better myself (the real ALTTP manual agrees with you too).Yeah, I prefer to think that the Triforce of Power offers sufficient protection from the Master Sword. Are you referring to the pre-release logo of TMC with the Master Sword in it?

So that's what it was. Zeldapedia had that on their TMC article for a long time. I think editing their articles will take too long.^

Don't bother with Zeldapedia. It's a lost cause, just like Youtube. So that's what it was. Zeldapedia had that on their TMC article for a long time. I think editing their articles will take too long.^

?The Master Sword's power level and importance has risen substantially since its introduction. In early games, it wasn't even the best sword in the game. Now it usually is.
The first game it was in was aLttP, and in that game, it was the only thing (excluding a bug catching net) that could be used against Aganhim. It can be upgraded, yes, but it was still the Master Sword.

If I'm not mistaken, the Magic Hammer could deflect Agahnim's blasts as well. Also, to further downplay the blade, the regular Master Sword couldn't harm Ganon unless you were using a spin attack; you needed to upgrade the blade at least once to harm him with a regular swing.
