Yes, I admit I was a little hasty to make that comment. However, you still need to leave people alone about their theories; or at least tell your side and present it as what you believe and not like it is absolute. I understand that certain things are absolute, but you do it whether it is absolute or not. Do it if you want if it is absolute, but when it isn't and when it is just theory and people sharing their personal thoughts; seriously, fuck off--or like I said earlier...

If you don't like it, you can leave. Like in the real world, things will be discussed, and if I disagree with something you say, I'm going to explain exactly why you're wrong. Don't take it personally.

Also, hypothetically; if the real world's timeline had split, would we have any knowledge or make any legends about it? No. Never happened. Exactly what would happen in Hyrule. They have no prior or existing knowledge of the stories that split into another tangent. For instance, the people of HF would know nothing of the stories of TW. Same goes for the people of TP knowing nothing of the adventures of the Hero of Winds because they never happened. Get it? Eh, probably not. But what could one expect of someone from a website as behind as Zelda Legends.

You're either really, really ignorant, or really, really dumb. I'm gonna be nice and go with the former.

Anyway, I get your point, but who cares? The people of LoZ don't even remember as far back as LTTP. No one in FS remembers what went down in TMC. It's not like the Hyrulians kept such a great track record of remembering Hyrule's history anyway.

Both Zelda Universe and Zelda Legends are behind. I have enjoyed this website for, not only their keeping current; but also for their theories and such.

LOL, what theories? They have very little space for timeline, and what they do have they took from some members here.

However I admit, if I had to choose between the two, I'd choose Zelda Universe. They at least keep current on news and new games. Oh, and I far more enjoyed their compilation of creator quotes for it was more complete and far more organized. Now as far as theories go, I think all websites have their theories that differ from the rest. Zelda Legends isn't any different than any website when it comes to coming up with unofficial theories.

Are you daft? Look at the threads on this very forum; we're just as up to date as Zelda Universe, if not moreso because we're not making random assumptions like "OMG IT'S THE DEKU TREE IN TEH DISTENCE"

I do go to Zelda Legends once in a while to see if they've caught up, and they never are. However, I still try to see if they are trying harder / as hard as other sites.

OK, I wouldn't take it like I did if you had just stated in your opinion about the unproven, not present it as fact. You mean tell me how I am wrong in your opinion, right? I understand when it is official and stated by the creators that you can tell me that I am wrong, but when it is not, it is in your opinion. Also, just bring me proof that it is official if I don't think so, and I will believe you. I bring opinion on the unofficial things because I don't have such proof, but you probably have better access to proof than I do.

You're either really, really ignorant, or really, really dumb. I'm gonna be nice and go with the former.

I am neither. I admit, I probably don't have all of the official statements by the creators therefore am not as informed as you are about the official stuff, but that doesn't make me "dumb." I check my sources via the games I play, I may overlook some things, but it is usually eventually brought to my attention. If I remember correctly, Ignorance is the lack of knowledge and using the knowledge one thinks he knows as fact. SO, um...wow, this is awkward, huh?

I admit that Zelda Dungeon doesn't do much on the timeline, but they keep quite current on the world of Zelda.

The people at the ZU forums at least keep their opinions on unofficial information as opinions, and don't try to present it like it is fact; or at least from what I have seen. Maybe you have seen otherwise, again; I don't know.

Our actual, main site is inactive mostly due to health issues of our administrator.

Well, then, I am wrong. Thank you. I did not know that earlier.

You obviously haven't been at ZU very long at all. They use theories as evidence for other theories.

Davogones is away frequently due to real life work and health difficulties. Last time I spoke to him was when he made me a small-time site administrator due to being under the weather for several months. I don't know much more than that, though, but he's not like....dead or dying, or anything, so no need to freak out.

I've been going to Zelda Universe since '02. I have periodically stayed and strayed from Zelda Legends since '04. Zelda Legends doesn't keep me at their website for very long because of how far behind they periodically get.
