A friend of mine found out where the model village was that had Wally; Babbecombe in Torquay.

Here's Wally:

Of course, I think we had more of the rip off versions than the Wally books. Things like "Hunt for Hector" and "Search for Sam." And "Look for Lisa."

I have those! My niece and nephew currently love them.

One other thing you might be able to find for me... A series of young children's illustrated books featuring teddy bears, from the late eighties I reckon. One book had fireworks in it, although that's all I can remember. Any idea of what it could be?

The Berenstain Bears?

Lol no. They were much more typical cut-and-paste teddy bears... Will no one find this random childhood memory for me?

Speaking about Wally, I went to my year 10 formal(prom) - we called it a spring zing, what with it being in september (Spring)

I went as Wally to that thing. It was over 6 years ago now, but I remember it so clearly. People kept hitting me on the back saying that they'd found me all night. So I started hiding under tables and what not. I won the most original constume.

That's pretty sick; I should try that sometime.

Well, maybe not. I'm not the type for hiding.

I want to convince any one of my male friends to dress up as Waldo/Wally and go to a con - then I'll take large crowd photos with him somewhere in it. It'll be hilarious.

I have a toy Berenstain bear. (Brother). My sister has Sister.

In fact, I have way too many cuddly toys and dolls and things in my bed. There's hardly space for me.
