"No, your not getting my life, I've only been alive less than five minutes, and thats to short for anyone to go through."
The circle started to grow. Jordan was lucky to be outside it now, because being the fleshy person he was, for him now to be in it, he'd be inside out. As it grew, people started turning inside out again and screaming. It was a mascre.
But that wasn't the plan. The plan was to get away. Others could cancel out his magic, if they could work out the incantation, a long dead spell from a place that never existed, but they'd find it sometime soon.
He needed help. He kinda wished that he was some sort of futuristic wariior who could call on some sort of metalic robotic dinosaur to jump inside and fight battles with. But he wasn't. What he was, was a long dead warrior who could surf the wind.
That was it, it was time to hit the waves.
"DUDE! he shouted at Jordan. Wanna go for a swim in the air?"

"Earth Dragon's Fang" He murmured quietly.
A savage blast of wind came rising from the ground, a wind tunnel of sorts that carried the shattered earth along with it. The attack plowed through a large amount of the troops that were thrown off by the first attack, sending them flying in the air or under the weight of a large chunk of earth.
"DUDE! Goose shouted at Jordan. Wanna go for a swim in the air?"
"HELL YES!" Jordan replied.
He leaped into the air and swung his spear to send a gust of wind to propel him back towards Goose. As he glided through the sky, he grabbed Goose's boney hand and lifted him up. It was a good thing his body was so stable.
"How do we swim in the air exactly?" Jordan asked as he swung his spear down to create a new gust of wind to send them higher.

Now for the trick that he'd been practicing, something that could backfire.
"What should exist, doesn't exist, except it does exist, doesn't it?"
and with that sentence, Goose held his breath. It could go very wrong.
But it didn't.
It worked.
He and Jordan entered the plan of reality that Goose was previously existing in. Or not existing in. They were like ghosts of a sort, except their bodies came into the reality with them, which was the tricky bit.
Good thing about this plain of existance was, to the naked eye in the real world, Good and Jordan had just disapeared. Just popped out of existance.
Now they were able to swim through the sky, or just float about if they wished.

But there was the diamond in the rough, Weizel Grande was among the troops.
"What do you mean they just vanished!? Magician unit, cast a barrier now! They have to be nearby!"
"Wow, you have no idea." Jordan said.
"Why would he show up on the front lines like this? Well, might as well get going."
With that, Jordan grabbed Grande from under the arms and began to swim up with him, carrying him away from his own men.
"Hey Goose! Let's head back to the city! I have some people waiting for me!" He called out.
"What the hell is going on!" Grande cried out as he was carried away.
His men looked on in disbelief as they saw their superior lifted into the air. With that, they casually swam back to Hatena.

"Did ya see that? THEY DISAPPEARED!"
"No shit, dumbarse" a gruff looking corporal beside him said, his keen eyes searching the cloudy sky for any sign of the two.
The clouds began to part in front of the moon. Junk glanced at the ridge behind him and gasped. Silhouetted against the moon was a dark figure, arms folded, long hair blowing in the breeze, and the hilts of two swords protruding from behind his back. Junk blinked, and the figure was gone. The hair rose on the back of his neck, and then, out of the corner of his eyes he saw two gleaming blades, one slightly longer than the other. He turned his head, seemingly infinitesimally slowly, but by the time he saw the shadowy figure speeding towards him it was too late. He felt the silvery blade cutting through his torso almost as if it were someone else's, and felt, almost as in a dream, his upper body being separated from his legs. His eyes closed slowly as he fell to the ground.

But he was still confused as to how they were invisible, flying through mid-air and carrying Grande. All he could do was look up at him in puzzlement.

Jordan sank lower towards the ground and dropped off Grande. He then decided to go as high as he could, seeing as he had the rare opportunity to fly as high as he wanted. So he did. He shot up as fast as he could, higher and higher above the clouds. However, he had to slow down as he began to get colder and colder the higher he went. He even began to see frost on his armor. He stopped where he was then, among the heavens so to speak. Jordan looked down and witnessed the rising sun cast it's light over what appeared to be the entire country. Remarkable.
After some time, he decided it was time to go back to the ground and dropped as quickly as he could. Now that was a rush, going down like that from such a height. After what felt to be an eternity of free falling, he eventually landed quietly on the ground, as if he floated down like a feather. He found Grande being toyed with Goose, dragging him around and poking him as if he were some sort of toy. It was quite comical. But now wasn't the time for laughs. As suddenly as it had begun, Jordan and Goose returned to their own particular dimension. Grande, shocked and beaten, sat on the ground as the two of them appeared into sight.
"No more Grande." Jordan said, raising his glaive towards Grande's neck.
"I understand your goals. I understand your ideals. But there is more than just absolute justice in this world. There are things we can't predict and understand."
"Your words mean nothing to me, you bastard." Grande replied.
"You are nothing but a criminal and one day you will pay for hurting and killing all those good men today."
"Fine, I'll take responsibility for my sins. But you were never in the position to judge me."
"Are you going to kill me?" Grande asked.
Jordan paused for a moment. He saw the look on Grande's face, he had nothing left to lose. Jordan withdrew his weapon and placed it back in it's sling.
"I'm in no position to judge you either. I just wished you took the time to understand me is all."
Grande had a smug look on his face. Jordan wasn't so hardened as to kill a man in cold blood.
"I'm going to leave your fate to these guys." He said as he turned his back on Grande. Grande, who was still sitting on the ground, showed an expression of true terror as Steel and Shadow joined up with Goose and Jordan.

Goose picked up a big head-bashing-in rock and readied his head-bashing-in arm.

--------------------
Willpower...
An army...
Political skills that would make others revel you...
These things make you strong...
However...
They can be taken away from you far more easily than you can acquire them...
You have lost your willpower...
Your soldiers...
And no amount of reasoning will safe your life now...
You have been stripped of everything...
Now, you are nothing more than another rotten bag of meat...
I know you value that meat as much as you do your power...
You know what you must do to survive...
Use not the power that you have taken, but what you have been given...
It was as if a second heart began to beat in Grande's chest then...

"It won't end just with this. Oh no, not by a long shot. You'll all be hunted down like sniveling dogs and ripped apart. Then and only then will true justice be served. It's only a matter of time."
*THWACK*
A loud noise echoed in that field outside of Hatena. Must have been that head bashing rock Goose found. Jordan didn't dare look behind him, especially when Goose gave Grande another hit just to be sure. Weizel Grande, Alliance Law Enforcement Supervisor died that morning. However, something happened that neither Goose, Jordan, Shadow nor Steel could see. A black mist sank into the ground, filtering out of Grande's now dead body. A particular manifestation of malevolence that rested within Grande's very heart for only a short time. However, it managed to stay there for as long as it needed and returned to wherever it was it came from.
"Victoria . . . forgive your brother."
It was Grande's voice. Was he still alive after all? No, that was impossible. After all, Goose was still beating Grande's body with the rock. It must have been the wind. Jordan was not in a good mood right now, he didn't know how much more of this he could take. A breeze from the ocean facing Hatena blew by and from Grande's pocket came out a card from his Tarot deck. It was blown across the grass and landed by Jordan's foot. He picked it up and gave it a good look.
"The World." He said.
Completion, wholeness, a finished journey. That was what that card represented. Jordan tossed it over his shoulder, he had no need for the painted paper.
"Steel, is there some place we have to be now? Any place on earth is better than here." He said.
Yes, it must have been the wind.

A chance spear thrust nicked his cheek. The sudden pain brought him to his senses. It was time to leave. He sheathed his weapons and, to the watching soldiers, simply disappeared.
Steel wandered up just as Goose hit Grande the first time with the rock. He watched him for a moment, then gave the man a sharp kick in the side. He knelt by his side.
"Now maybe you'll understand, in some small way, the pain you've brought to thousands, you bastard." Steel whispered in his ear, then smashed his heavy boot into the man's crotch.
* * * *
"Steel, is there some place we have to be now? Any place on earth is better than here." Jordan said.
"Aye. I need you and Ken to accompany me to a meeting of the Dorm leaders. We're going to try to bring peace long enough to defeat the alliance once and for all. It's time to kill Khuffie."

Death by Rock. Simple.
He looked at the crew, the four of them. Standing together over a corpse. When he got a chance, Goose would go shopping and get himself some Jester Garb. He felt naked. His bare bones were exposed and if he'd had any flesh, he'd be utterly embarrased.
Goose listened to Steel's words and agreed. The pirate may be a lazy good for nothing pirate, but if he knew a way to kill khuff, he was useful.
"I"m comin too. If it involved khuffs head on a pike, I'm there. "

It wasn't as if he didn't have the information already, but knowing two people from other Dorms almost made it official. A sadistic smile crept onto his face.
"The Alliance blackmailed me into working for them, but with Grande and my lieutenants out of the picture, I'm a free man... count me in. A chance to pay back the Alliance in full is something I wouldn't miss for the world."

"When do we leave?" He asked.

"We may leave whenever you are ready. I can save you quite a bit of travel time, assuming you aren't scared of a dark void from which you cannot conceivably return on your own," he joked. His eyes briefly turned to Shadow. It was only fair to warn him. "You, however, will likely be shot or stabbed the moment you arrive. If you're expecting someone like Selena to trust someone with ties to the Alliance, you are a blissfully ignorant but soon to be dead young man."

The shadows on the ground and in their surroundings began to gather around Keel's feet, much like Xeres's skill, giving him the ability to summon a gateway to Hurian Island. Keel Air! The only way to travel! Putting his hand on Steel and Jordan's shoulders, he extended the portal until everyone but Shadow was within. Then, as if falling from a great height, the group simply fell out of existence and into vein squeezing darkness... popping back up in the middle of the Lalvican Sea, where they had met many months ago to end the last of the Dorm Wars.
