If this item can allow you to lift bigger rocks, due to making you stronger, logically shouldn't it make your sword blows more powerful. It does make sense doesn't it?

Why would it make the sword blows stronger? It may give an energy boost to Link's wrists, but it wouldn't increase the strength of the blade.

There's a difference between lifting strength and swording strength.

True in regards to sword strenght but not swing/hit strength...if you have increased strength in your arm...that would make you swing the sword harder...thus inflicting a more powerful blow

In games like Final Fantasy and even Tales of Symphonia....increasing a character's strength makes them deal out more powerful hits.

If your wrists are stronger, your sword blows technically should be as well.

Well, you could theorize that the power bracelet is only activated when Link is straining hard enough to need it. Notice that whenever he lifts anything really large it takes a moment of trying for it to actually work. If that's the case then there would never really be enough strain when Link swings his sword for it to incrase his strength. Maybe I'm wrong, but that makes sense to me.

Well, if you think about the Silver and Golden Gauntlets, Link had to press them against his palms and then carry the stone. I think the Power Bracelets or any item used to lift heavy objects is limited to just that.

More of just a limited burst of strength...yeah, that makes sense.

It has to be magic.. they're 'lifting' bracelets. if they were anythin else, like just plain strength-increasers, there'd be a lot of other side-effects as well.. even if it was only arm-strength. clearly the magic is limited to lifting, just like the gauntlets are for lifting and pushing only...

Given to him, or originated at least, from the Gorons, correct? Maybe it just gives him the Gorons power over rocks.

well that's the goron bracelet, which probably works in the same manner... though it only works for lifting bomb flowers and pulling up weeds, so perhaps it only gives one a stronger grip. either way, these talismans have extremely specific magic, and that's why they unfortunately don't increase his swinging power.

Another noteworthy point is that the Power Bracelet was an equippable item in LA. This would make you think that the power bracelet is something that requires free hands to use it, rather than just something you always equip.

or because if you didn't have it equippable it'd be always-on, which i beileve would mess with LA in some way.. you need to not push things sometimes..

I agree with Masamune, they must be used independantly.

Um, no. It made his sword destroy certain stones. Aside from that, it did nothing.

When a thread's at the bottom of the page or on the second page and you ressurect it my adding a pointless post for example, or if you're even lasier you just put the word "bump" in the thread.
