Americans win still overall, but there's still quite a few Brits. And you missed out Catterick which means 7, but compared to the legions of Americans we're small.

Ah you beat out the Canadians though, I'm pretty sure. So you're like the second highest... :D

Makes a change. Most forums I go to the Brits are at a severe minority. Apart from my own forums, where most of them are Scottish, lol.

Shame about the Canadians though...

I'm sure the Canadians are third though, when it comes to numbers of countrys, maybe someone should do a poll?

Zythe: You don't need a license to own a sword. Most stores that specialize in selling swords have an age requirement of eighteen, but they don't require any license or anything.

If you're buying online, nobody even cares.

My friend inherited a suit of chainmail because his family had a knight in it a long time ago. He also got a rusted old zweihander. It's pretty cool.

Just to clarify, in England there is no need for a licence to own or use a sword. However, there are some guidelines that you must follow:
If you're transporting your sword it must be fully covered up, preferably your sword is in the boot of the car or out of site.
It's not to be used in the streets or outside; unless it's private property and you have written consent from the owner allowing you to use the sword.
No threatening behaviour with it, otherwise you have both the mens rea and the actus reus to be charged with assault.

Silly really, you can get less powerful air rifles that require licences, and they can't kill. But with a sword you can easily kill someone. lol

^But most people who're going to kill someone aren't going to use a sword. :P And if you just mean accidental... well, you can kill anyone with almost anything, then.

And for like the third confirmation, you don't need a license for a sword.

Swords are very hard to rob a bank with, so I'd still choose a gun.

Yeah, when I took my sword to school I had to wrap it in a black bin sack, and only drew it in my school which I think's private property, so at least I didn't break the law, though I didn't know it.

Getting armour is pretty rare and expensive, but my house is like a Roman armoury, with Roman stuff in the shed and attic. Oh yes and guns: musket in my front hall, lea enfield mark 4, a sten gun and a foreign legion rifle. Oh yes bullets my dad stole from army, bayonets everything. Bah I can't help my milataristic upbringing.

It was mainly to piss off the teacher and in hindsight, it was both a mad and stupid idea. Also I think we should get back on topic: somebody post some pics of themselves.

I didn't get in trouble, probably because my teacher is the Devil. I've met people at my school who say the same thing about him even though we haven't met before, nearly everyone agrees who has been taught by him. He wouldn't get me in trouble, he probably wonders why everyone else hasn't brought weaponry in, he's probably got a trident at home anyways. I can even draw up a list why he's evil incarnate.... He is Satan, or at least his son.Nobody thought I was a psycho, they think I'm slightly dangerous and mentally unstable instead. Which is probably slightly true, I've been called mad before several times before, but when I get rich enough I'll simply be called eccentric.

I haven't killed anybody....yet. Besides the most damage I ever have inflicted on any one is possibly blinding them, but they were trying to mug me.

I see. Then you quickly whipped out your camera, took a picture, came home and set it as your avatar. It all makes sense. (Yes, I do know it's actually from TS2)

We don't even own a webcam...we get all our pictures from a camera and put them on with a scanner.

I didn't believe her back when she posted her first batch of pics.

I eventually changed my mind, if only because I'm too lazy to keep myself in an indefinate state of disbelief.
