That wouldn't be fair, indeed. Besides I'm happy actually that it didn't work. An Iron Knuckle is often depicted as an undead living armor. And healing an undead would like have the reverse effect. So, that kinda works in my advantage here. But then again, that depends a bit on which Zelda game you're talking about.

So, since there's nothing to do here. Becomes statue again and falls asleep waiting for the next post. Zzz...
