Ganon in ALttP isn't Ganondorf

With this in mind, it could be explained that the Ganon in ALttP is not Ganondorf, but rather a new victim of the Trident. This victim would of course have to be Agahnim. At the end of the game you defeat Agahnim for a second time and the demon Ganon flees the body to the Pyramid of Power where you finally defeat him.
It seems to me that this would help explain some of the apparent inconsistencies between the games. What do you guys think of this possibility, and do you have any suggestions about how this could effect the rest of the games like LoZ, AoL, and the Oracle games?
I apologize if this theory has already been brought up before.

Um...actually, the Trident only contains the POWER of the demon. Ganon is still Ganon
Okay, but my idea could still work that Ganon in ALttP isn't Ganondorf.

So why have Aghanim go about trying to free Ganon, if Ganon is already out and about inside of Aghanim--? He still needed away to open a gate between the Light and Dark World, so that he can use the Triforces power. Otherwise the Triforce would just be sitting in the Dark World useless. I suppose.

For quite sometime I've felt that Ganon is just an ancient spirit that goes about inhabiting certain bodies. Perhaps this spirit is the epitome of all evil. What's the prerequisite of being possessed by this spirit--? I don't know...let alone if the hosts willingly wanted the spirit to take possession of them.
So why have Aghanim go about trying to free Ganon, if Ganon is already out and about inside of Aghanim--? He still needed away to open a gate between the Light and Dark World, so that he can use the Triforces power. Otherwise the Triforce would just be sitting in the Dark World useless. I suppose.
That's basically what I was thinking. Instead of trying to free himself, Ganon was actually trying to get to the Triforce and unleash the forces of the Dark World onto the Light World.
The main thing that provoked this thinking is Ganon arising from Agahnim's body after you defeat him the second time. Had he possessed Agahnim, or was it just a facade? Either way, why, and was he Agahnim the entire game or just at that point?
HA has certainly supported the idea that an outside force gave Ganondorf his powers and gave him the ability to transform into Ganon.

Eh, I doubt evil can come from just one source. I think Ganon is merely a person that got corrupted by his own greed for the Triforce, and nothing more. If Ganon was possessed or something, it would be implied by something like Zelda saying "He's gone insane! he's no longer a human, but a beast!" or something like that o.O
I don't know if you've played HA, but Zelda says that Ganondorf of the Gerudo was a reborn ancient demon, so in a way...she really did say what you just suggested in the above post. Perhaps this spirit is of the original Ganon.

And multiple possesions what I was talking about in the letter I sent to the mailbag. And of course you guys know how Davogones responded. I'll see if I can find it...
Edit: Uh, no luck. I guess it was lost after all. Davogones put up a good argument against too... Stupid Hackers

Um...that's entirely different that what I meant. Just because he is the reincarnation of a demon doesn't mean he retained any demonic traits -.o; It could also be a metaphor that Zelda used when he tapped into the Trident
No...it is what it is...she meant a reborn ancient demon literally...perhaps it's the spirit of the original Ganon. Also we see in other games like Oracles and AoL that suggest Ganon can be revived or reborn.

I think that right there proves there are multiple Ganons since HA told the origins of Ganondorf's powers and MC is supposed to be the first game.

And doesn't the game say that without the Moon Pearl, you change into a form that reflects your heart, hence Ganon becoming a pig (because he's so greedy?)

Why don't they turn that into a smiley? People might understand it better that way.

Erm... doesn't the LTTP manual say that Ganon was actually Ganondorf Dragmire otherwise known as Mandrag Ganon, and that he was a thief that seized the Triforce for himself?
And doesn't the game say that without the Moon Pearl, you change into a form that reflects your heart, hence Ganon becoming a pig (because he's so greedy?)
This is obviously a technical inconsistency because it doesn't explain how Ganondorf turns into Ganon in OoT or how Ganon exists outside of the dark world in the rest of the games.

Anyway, I'm not married to this idea. It was just something I thought up and wanted to throw out for discussion.

no joke...in fact at the end of OoT, Ganondorf clearly states in a rage "someday i will break the seal and eliminate your decendants one after another, as long as the Triforce of Power is in my hand"What are you going on about? Of COURSE Ganon in ALttP used to be Ganondorf. The maiden descendants constantly mention this throughout the game.
this was clearly a tie in to ALttP...come on guys...like that one dude said, the maidens tell Link repeatedly that Ganon is indeed Ganondorf the king of Theives...
about Agahnim...i have a feeling we saw him in Adventure Of Link...
anyway this very idea is something i almost made a thread about
we dont know how Ganon became so corrupted that he no longer resembled a human at all but a pig demon...of course many think it was just years of being exposed to the triforce of power, i think theres more to it than that....i hope a future game can fill that in..This is obviously a technical inconsistency because it doesn't explain how Ganondorf turns into Ganon in OoT or how Ganon exists outside of the dark world in the rest of the games.

It's actually a tie in to TWW. Recall in the TWW backstory, Ganon did break the seal and he killed of the descendants, and there was no one around to stop him and thus the world was flooded. So what Ganon said at the end of OOT is a tie in to TWW backstory and not LTTP.
Ganon turning into a pig has nothing to do with the Triforce or being in the Sacred Realm. He can change into the beast at will...the Triforce just augments his power. We see in HA that he's a beast...and he's not even in possesion of the Triforce, and this happened long before OOT.

Never stated. He's only stated to kill the sages of Earth and Wind, but we don't know if they're descendants of the Sages of OOT, they may even be older than those...

Well he stated he'd come back and break the seal...and he did just that...so what's to stop him from killing the sage descendants?
