Ahhh *sighs* the old Ocarina days. For a long time I had been wanting a N64, and finally a classmate sold it to me (yay!!!) with seven games which included OoT. I really didn't thought I was gonna like it, but it actually made me a Zelda fan. LOL *goes back to play OoT for the trillionth time* Man, I L-O-V-E this game!!!

Ocarina of Time was my first and favorite. It was my first because the Nintendo 64 was my first video game system.

The original Legend of Zelda was my first, followed by ALttP. I've never played AoL but I saw someone else play long ago. I'll be getting it soon, so, I'll finally get my chance. LoZ felt so deep for NES. It got me hooked. ALttP just pulled me in more. My friends and I used to take turns playing those games all the time... some of my fondest memories.

Thank you, Lysia. It's been a long time since I've talked to you.
I remember going to my friends house to play NES. We would rent games and we just happened to rent LoZ and we were hooked. Those were some great times.

Mine was OoT, I liked it, it was my second game, but nothing like Majora's Mask.

The first Zelda Game I bought was where it all the started the very first LoZ and then I made my way up the 1st was a classic and so was OoT years later

That's an awkward place to start! Hope you didn't get confused! Like I said before, my first GLIMPSE of Zelda was ALttP, but the first game I owned and played constantly was OoT. You really have to be near 18 to have played LoZ first, and the population of this board seems to be a bit younger, that would account for all the OoT people.

I assumed, back then it was just the sequal to something because there was no explanation of who anyone was not even Zelda or Link or Ganon. The game is incredibly deep though and has an awesome story.

The original Legend of Zelda was my first game. I played it in 88 or 89 when I was 5 or 6. Obviously it was much to hard for me, but it was so much fun. Next we decided to play Zelda II, but found that to be even harder. We eventually gave up on both games.
But when A Link to the Past came out Zelda became my favorite gaming franchise ever. Next was L.A., OoT, and so on.
Going by my first play, I've played every Zelda game in order..the only thing is I haven't beaten them in order. In fact I haven't beaten Zelda II yet. (the only one I haven't beaten..I just don't care for it too much I guess.) I'm sure I'll beat that when it comes out on GBA though. It'll hold me over until the Minish Cap. =)

LOZ was my first game and LA and since I got ALTTP on the same day they were both my second of the zelda games.

When I was much younger, I often saw a friend playing Adventures of Link. In high school, I saw another friend playing Ocarina of Time (which really got me interested in the series); later, I saw yet another friend playing a ROM of the original.
But the first I actually played? Link to the Past, in ROM form. (Moonwalk through the doors -- it's fun! *evil grin*)
Or perhaps it was the original in ROM form. My memory is not all that great.
