BTW, 007bond, have you even played the Wind Waker? Or better yet, have you ever played any Zelda games besides Ocarina of Time?

Yeah, but anyway, He could be the brother of Zelda, although when he finds out that *SPOILER* Tetra is Zelda, he doesn't treat her like a sister. *END SPOILER*

On a side note, I think that it was *SPOILER* kind of bittersweet that the King dies in the end to save Link and Zelda, even though he didn't have to. The moral we see is "live for tomorrow," obviously, and by making Tetra Zelda and having Link as his little steward hero, we see that King is desperately trying to relive the past and drown his regrets. In the end, he admits this, for those of you who REALLY pay attention to character traits, and reveals subtley that he will choose to drown in Hyrule because those that live by the past, in turn, are respected to die with it. I love the whole good/bad aspects of King seen in the story, he soon became one of my fave characters, and that's just the report for those of you that saw him as just another supporting character, he is secretly one of, if not the deepest persona in the game.
