well wouldn't the anti-christ fullfill revelations. Isn't you know, eternal kingdom of god a good thing? And it not happening a bad thing?

I don't think God would really appreciate us trying to mess with his schedule.

Who knows- maybe this IS his schedule. The Anti-Christ is supposed to be a politician, right?

The Anti-Christ...
Here's what I know.
It'll be really hard to recognize him until it's too late. He's going to come into the world offering world peace, and successfully achieving it, for a while. He's going to be really charismatic, everyone's gonna love him. 'Cept those of us who know better.

Isn't he supposed to be from Austria or something? I really don't want to say who I am thinking of.

I highly doubt prophecies of the anti-Christ would make mention of Austria. ;)

Yeah you are.  You're always talking about how you're a Catholic, remember?

Anyway, I don't mean that all Catholics are Republican.  I'm just saying that Catholic Republicans are usually hardcore.

I like Kerry. I like that he wants to rollback the tax cuts. I like that he wants to heal relations with out allies. I like that he wants to make the rebuilding of Iraq an actually international project other than a "coalition of the willing".

The biggest reason I like him would be the tax cuts. I think a Kerry administration would be a return to fiscal responsibility. What I don't understand is why Bush likes Reagan's idea of tax cuts. His father refered to this policy as "Voodoo Economics".

But Bush is making the rebuilding of Iraq international. He's getting the UN involved. The only reason they weren't involved from the beginning was that France and Germany had made it into a kind of political statement to oppose military intervention, so there was no chance of getting them involved.

And Clinton was the one who kept raising taxes while the economy was good. The problem was that the taxes were so high on some business that when they started to slow down a little bit, they were completely overwhelmed by those taxes. Frequently a new presidents policies arent in full force until three years into his term.

Nobody wants to help in Iraq is the main problem. People think of it as an American thing so they trash Americans for it, in return we yell back and no one helps us very much. (If we really were there just for the oil oil prices would go down)

They were never here?

No, it's just that I'd been prevented from voting.

It's okay, I'm here now, despite the fond wishes of our left-wing conspiracy.

*looks at the numbers* And oh, how our side has come out. Nice work, guys, though I suspect there's some on our side who haven't voted yet. Where are they...?

And for the record, there is ONE guy who'd be better than Bush: John McCain.

Points Against Kerry -
- Would give North Korea nuclear materials
- Believes America should rely on the permission of the U.N. to take action
-Disrespectful of our Iraqi allies, Japan, Australia, Poland, Great Britain, and the 20+ other nations who have given us logistical support or approval
- Would raise taxes
- Has never come out against authoritarian judges
-Supported by Michael Moorbid
-Hyprocrisy, saying the same thing Bush currently does about Saddam, until Bush supported it
-Economic protectionist, supporting the worker (some people) over the consumer (everyone), and thus, ignoring of the economic deprivations of the Third World
-Not Bush

Ph334 the evil regime! :bowser:

Well right now it doesn't look good for Kerry. I'm a little upset but I will get over it. Despite my whinning on this forum I would be ok with Bush. And he's not all bad I guess, I just wanted national health care so bad. *sigh* Maybe next time.

Well right now it is real close. But I stand by my predicition. Bush will win. It will just be closer than I originally thought. What is interesting is it doesn't look like Kerry will get the popular vote. That surprises me.

I sorta thought Bush would win for a while now. Which makes me wonder about the state of the military. Now he says he won't have a draft but if he doesn't change anything there will eventually be no other choice.

Yes there is. The minority I'm talking about is the loser of an election. There's little or no connection between that and how many people have which skin tone.
