Now for a long time I've always operated under the pretense that the Curiousity Shop Man was also the merchant next door. He just wears a wig as the merchant and shades for the Curiousity Shop. He even uses the same 'I kid you not" phrase in both places. When the Curiousity Shop opens, the General Store is run by a know-nothing employee. Makes sense, right?

Well I was doing the Anju/Kafei Quest again... went in Kafei's place, it was 6PM. I look through the secret visor... the Curiousity Shop man is waiting there. Suspicious I run to the Merchant... and the owner is still there, the one identical to the Curiousity Shop. So I'm wondering...

Am I completely wrong or is this some kind of error?

EDIT: Okay, so I waited in there... he closes the General Store at 9 PM and puts up 'on break, back in one hour'. In this time the Curiousity Shop opens and the General Store re-opens,.

And what does this have to do with the storyline discussions? Should this be in general?

^ And what does that have to do with the topic at hand, seriously?

Not all storyline info is timeline related. This in particular deals with character issues that would less likely get a satisfactory answer in Zelda general.

I"m guessing it's just a slip-up. A minor one, at that, considering it took 6 years for anyone to notice.

Either that, or the guy in the shop is faster than the OoT running man, so by the time you get to his shop he's already back again :P

I predict that the owner of two shops is the same guy :)

Just a slight slip up by Nintendo.
