Because if you don't find the art of folding a fitted sheet to be both fascinating and relevant, then clearly you've NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH SHEETS BEFORE IN YOUR LIFE.

You know how I fold a fitted sheet?

I curl it into a messy ball and throw it in the back of a linen closet, then immediately forget about it so that I don't feel the guilt.

Well, that's the point! Everyone else on the planet does that, so the 1% that know how to actually fold them feel like Houdini's lovechild with Jesus.

I fold it by putting the corners together and rolling it in a ball...cause I like the lil surprises of socks falling out of the corners when I go to make the bed. xD then I am all like... Hey..that's where the other went to...silly sock you don't belong in the fitted sheet.

Failing to make your bed in the morning may actually help keep you healthy, scientists believe.

Research suggests that while an unmade bed may look scruffy it is also unappealing to house dust mites thought to cause asthma and other allergies.

A Kingston University study discovered the bugs cannot survive in the warm, dry conditions found in an unmade bed.

The average bed could be home to up to 1.5 million house dust mites.

The bugs, which are less than a millimetre long, feed on scales of human skin and produce allergens which are easily inhaled during sleep.

The warm, damp conditions created in an occupied bed are ideal for the creatures, but they are less likely to thrive when moisture is in shorter supply.

In any case, why bother spending time to get yourself sick?

Mine's not that neat, but I've never really had that much trouble folding a fitted sheet. :x I just hang onto the corners and fold it like any other sheet.

Impressive. That said though, she took a minute to fold that crap--:rage:. If only I had the patience to be that tidy.

...OR, you could have only one sheet, wash it, and then take it back to your bed. Zero inventory; it's the wave of the future.

But then you'd have to be un-lazy enough to actually pull the sheets off, wash, dry, and return them to the bed all within the same day. I'm not sure that would work out for most mortals.

But those are all tasks you would need to do in conjunction with the bed sheets, anyway. Synchronize tasks with the rest of the laundry and you have one load to blow them all.

....That came out wrong, but you couldn't possibly avoid doing any of those tasks unless yo--

....haven't cleaned up after Fish in the past six months?!?! Yes, yes. The signs of immortal laziness are now all lining up; I smelled it in the stinking wind, I heard it from the dying birds, I felt it in the pauperized sunlight. Also, Lena was just in here, crying. OMG That's exactly how I fold my sheet. I thought everyone knew that... and then I got married. Now I do all the folding.
