What's up with Midna appearing as a shadow while Link is in human form?

Cool video, for some reason I'm guessing Midna is a fairy in the 'Light World' but until I can find out more...

I think she may be literally "Link's shadow." Wow. Kinda kills the cool Master Sword theory...actually, no one had THIS theory at all...

Well, Aonuma-san did say Midna would indeed exist in Hyrule 'in the strictest sense'...

It seemed like the Goron symbol was on the chain cuffs of the monster Link was fighting. You can see it right after Link "finishes" the monster.

Well I think that level in TP is referred to as the 'Goron Mines'. So maybe that boss was another monster causing the Goron's trouble...like the beast (Valvoga?) from OOT. Maybe those chains were placed on this boss by the Gorons.

I watched TSA's walkthrough of the Goron Mines. It looked good and the level was really expansive, but I'm not sure about the 'Balrog'. The first trailer made me think it was an actual boss but now I see it as more of a sub-boss. Does anyone else see it like that?

I thought of it that way too--considering how easy it was to beat it. Also, you didn't have to strike it that many times.
