Long ago in the inner reaches of Hyrule, an evil wind sorcerer known as Vaati began kidnapping beautiful young maidens, one after another.
Nobody could stop Vaati, and the people of Hyrule despaired. Then, a brave young wanderer carrying only a single sword appeared.
When the young lad took out the sword, he split into four separate beings. The legends say that these four beings worked as one and defeated Vaati.
The wanderer, united once again, imprisoned Vaati deep in Hyrule and sealed the prison with his own sword. This place became known as the Realm of the Four Sword.
After that, a long time passed.
Then, the wind sorcerer Vaati broke out of his prison and then snatched Princess Zelda of Hyrule. Zelda's childhood friend, a young boy named Link, claimed the strange power of the Four Sword and fought Vaati fiercely. In the end, he succeeded in sealing Vaati away once again.

That's what basically happened in the original FS GBA game from beginning to end. It really wasn't much of a story.

In, FSA, Vaati has been released from the Realm of the Four Sword again. However, later in the game, it turns out that Ganon has been the true villain manipulating things from the start. There are certain parts of this game that hints that Ganon is an "ancient demon reborn". There is also, a section that talks about whoever acquires the Trident will become the King of Evil. Vaati is destroyed and Ganon is later sealed away inside the Four Sword after being defeated by none other than, Link.

hmmmmmmmmm...........do u know if the Link from those 2 games was the same one? dosen't seem it....

One of Zelda's quotes seems to suggest that this is the same Ganon or Ganondorf.....I assumed that perhaps this was the orignal Ganon and he was reincarnated as Ganondorf.....putting this game before OoT. Apparently not....

thanks!

I think the Links are different. In FSA, Zelda tells Link about the FS seal and it's power as if he never used it before. Also, Link has to learn how to use it again.

As for Ganon I think he's just as zelda states, an 'ancient demon' reborn. I don't know if this is the first Ganon, considering one of the maidens and a knight sort of hinted at his name sounding familiar. However, what throws me off is that people in this game view the Gerudos as a peaceful people and seem surprised as if the King of Evil could ever be a Gerudo--was he not a Gerudo in OOT? If FSA happened long after OOT on the timeline, then why are they surprised or think that a Gerudo could never be the King of Evil? I guess the only thing could explain this is that people forgot over time...meh. Maybe this could be the first time the King of Evil inhabited the body of a Gerudo thus leading possibly into OOT.

Supposedly there was a point where the FS trilogy inhabited its own timeline, according to Aonuma San, which might explain the Hylian's forgetfulness.

I think that FS's and FSA's Link are the same. The FSA manual says that it was Link who fought Vaati when describing the events of FS. I think when Zelda tells Link about the Four Sword she is really telling the player who might not have ever played FS.
