But sweet potatoes and marshmallow? That's just wrong.
Then again, there's a Chinese dessert which involves sweet potato and some kind of dough boiled in water until the water itself is thick and filled with the taste and goodness of sweet potatoes (I hate it). But not marshmallows.
You Americans will eat anything.

Hmm, y'know, I've only eaten a sweet potato once. And I threw up four or so hours later. God, they're horrible! It's like the love-child of a potato and a giant jar of sugar, somehow made orange.

I heard that Americans put ice cream on top of pizza, and cover roast dinners with custard.

One: Putting ice cream on top of ice cream is the most insane thing I've heard of in a while, and NO, we don't do it.I have sweet pototoes a few times. Didn't like them.

Two: I'm not sure what kind of custard you're even talking about, as we don't use the term often here. I'm not sure what you mean by a 'roast dinner', either. XD Whatever the case, I don't think it's something we eat.

And come on. Some strange things are good. Macaroni and cheese with ketchup all over it. Awesome stuff.

Custard's delicious, but I wouldn't have it on a roast dinner. I don;t normally have it on desserts - I'll have the dessert, then a bowl of custard seperately. Same with gravy, but my parents don't generally let me eat it seperately, so I usually just don't have any.
One of the oddest instructions I've read in a play is in "A Man for all Seasons" in which Sir Thomas More "Breaks off a piece of custard and eats it." Huh?

Didja know if you filled a swimming pool with normal runny custard you'd be able to walk on it?
