is it true that every hundred years a male gerudo is born due to some curse put on them previously?

i was actually just playing the geredu temple in OOT and i recall the geredu mentioning that a male is born every 100 years, wether or not he's cursed i dont think it says

Hm. A lot of that "cursed" stuff came from a misdemeanor of TSA's... 
However, there is some truth to it. Indeed, only one male Gerudo is born every hundred years. A lot of people think that the Gerudo, therefore, must be really old or something, to be able to procreate at that kind of age, but according to an OoT Gossip Stone, Gerudo girls often look for Hylian boyfriends in the marketplace, (hos), so there you go. The one male that we know of is Ganondorf, and after that whole episode his whole race hit some sort of rut, because they haven't appeared in any games later in the storyline. Short version? For some reason, the Gerudo can only have one boy child every one hundred years, that becomes their king and is practically worshipped. Since the Gerudo were a thieving, dying, outcast race, though, their history became eminent, and they haven't mattered much since anyway.
