You're supposed to be. Or can you not comprehend what I said in the first post?

And it's always been the rule that you don't post in the awards polls! Ever since You-Know-Who and Anju did them and who knows how long before he did them. And it was the first post in the discussion thread that said don't do it. So I guess you're just SOL for a while.

No offence to the creators of the rule....but it is wierd...i mean...theres no point in doing such thing..... especially when they ban a member for not knowing
Well I think the rule is kinda weird too but really, who would want to post in a Award's poll to begin with. What could you possibly say other than what choices you picked? The Award Forums is just weird in general. I don't get what half those polls are about.
Question, DJ: Why not simply lock the threads to begin with to avoid any conflict? Or does this prohibit people from voting?

Yeah, that's the problem. Locking the poll prohibits people from posting AND voting.Question, DJ: Why not simply lock the threads to begin with to avoid any conflict? Or does this prohibit people from voting?

Judging from teh titles, I don't think anyone will notice if they're out of order.

Anyway, Bond didn't get in trouble for just posting in an awards thread. Someone else did that and got a warning. Bond, however, posted AFTER all these warning and death threats, and so because he was unable to understand (or notice) all of this, he was teh suspended. Two days. Not that much.
As for whether the discussion thread is stupid? *shrug* It's always been that way. Stop tryin' to rock the boat. Never did anyone any serious harm before. The only difference was that with invision, we could make them poll only. LoD always had postable Award polls and they were pretty much chaos. Hard to monitor 15+ highly active threads and even harder to break up spamfests (well, spamfests for LoD) within each one. Especially since all the admins have jobs/school/lives and aren't on 24/7. And LA's way bigger than LoD and has more potential for screw ups.
Everybody stop gettin' yer panties (or armor) in a twist. It's not that big of an issue.

And if you want to talk about a messy forum, a Linguistics 101 student can tell you that two stops don't go next to each other without another sound in between.

Well, regardless, all of it is just two days of suspension and a lock out from one forum. It isn't that big a deal of a punishment, and hopefully it'll tell other people not to do what you...just did. The punishment ain't gonna be retracted at this point, no matter how unfair you may find it. If you were banned for it, that would be a bit extreme, but you aren't. You can find some way of entertaining yourself for the next day and a half. And as Selena said...yeah, Suggestions forum for complaints and whatever.
...and what does that haveta do with the suspension, Catt? Bring that up in the Discussion thread or something. XP

I wonder how much I can get done with this site in that time.
