For Primus' sake, enough of your damn self pity and self deprecation. You can talk about it all you want in Life, but I and many others are sick and tired of your endless pity parties that you drag other threads into, especially those that have nothing to do with it.

We know you can do better than "I'm depressed...", "I don't have any friends...", and "I'm sorry..." as the entire content of most of your posts lately, Chukchi. We've seen you do much better.

although, he has been doing a LOT better, i have noticed. He seems to be slowly droping the act, and...*gasp* spaming! (something i haven't seen him do...) i think his 'good' mood streak started with his new 'unacceptable' avatar and profile picture, actually..hmmm...interesting....

Fyxe has the anthros with the enormously large breasts, but I've never seen a blurred nipple before, nor anything below the waist that's too bad.

I do try and avoid any nippleage. I have accidently involved vaguely nippletastic stuff before but they've been removed, so I try to be careful.

I agree that Husky was actually somewhat worse *before* this incident. But yeah, the self-pity does bring the board down, it does need to be in the right place at the right time. Preferably it would be best if he just felt good enough about himself that it didn't happen at all, but mentioning it all the time is only going to make stuff worse.

Exactly- Khuff even outright refused to let you have something that I think included a vaguely covered nipple- so Chukchi just isn't going to get any special treatment over you or anyone else. When a standard is set, it's kept.

He does this on other forums too. He talks about suicide and dissappearing from LA and nobody noticing he's gone. I don't think it's simply self-pity. I think this is something far more serious. I know. I've been through what he's going through (Chikky knows this more than anyone). In fact, I'm STILL going through stuff like that right now. But even his posts are begining to scare me.

He needs to realize that nobody here cares, and if they act like they do, they aren't serious.

It's not that nobody cares. I care if someone's depressed. But it's just that nobody knows him, and him simply talking about how depressed he is isn't going to mean anyone is going to be able to help. He needs to speak to friends one on one, not do the self-pity act on an entire message board.

Flint, you shouldn't make such generalisations. The Linkin Park reference was rather childish, I thought. Grow up; depression afflicts more people than you probably realise, they just don't all talk about it as much as Husky might.

Well, in any case, he can't be turning the conversation towards him all the time in an effort to get sympathy and attention. If he needs someone to talk to about problems, then he can use an instant messenger or seek professional assistance. The main population of LA is made up of young adults, which means that most people aren't really qualified to give advice other than 'suck it up' or 'Oh, I'm so sorry!!!1' We've had one or two suicidal people here threatening to kill themselves, and it's never a pretty sight on the forums.


And thus the hammer of punishment drops in hopes of warning him about it.

I think the point is, if you ahve a problem, the slaggin' internet is not the place to find sympathy or assistance. Even if you do, do it over someone you know generally well ove e-mail or an IM program - changing topics into it all the freakin' time is spam more then anything, an it gets tiring. Of course, I don't want anyone commiting suicide and I certainly am not appathetic towards people's problems provided that I know them. But this way is just a complete and total waste of time one veryone's part and is irritating and uselessly takes up space on the forum - Life is where you can talk things if you feel the need to, and nowhere else.

The next time he does it, he's banned, and at that point I don't care anymore what happens.
