So, I'm playing OoT on the Zelda Collector's Edition, and I'm trying to summon the scarecrow in the Dodongo's Cavern to get that one Gold Skulltula, but the scarecrow won't appear. I know I'm in the right room because I can see the Gold Skulltula and Navi flies up to the ledge and turns green. I also know the scarecrow remembered the song because after I play it is says, "You've played the Scarecrow's Song".
Does Link have to be standing in a certain part of the room for it to work? I've played the damn song all over the room, but nothing seems to work.

Crap, I forgot you have to activate the song by playing it to the scarecrow as adult Link.
