Has anybody at LA ever played the old NES game "Color a Dinosaur"? I'm sure glad I never did. I heard from many reviews that it was one of the worst NES games ever released.

Trust me, 13. I read in Nintendo Power Volume 100 that "Color a Dinosaur" was one of the Top-Ten worst Nintendo games ever released. Here of course is the Gamefaqs review page of this game: http://www.gamefaqs....iew/587195.html

Edit: Still, I'm glad I never played that "prehistoric pansy" of a game.

Are you sure E.T. is worse than Color a Dinosaur, Eizan Tayama? Let me check the ratings on Gamefaqs to see if you're correct....

(After checking Gamefaqs) Yeah, it's a bad game alright. Poorly designed, as you said. But the game still isn't as bad as Color a Dinosaur. Color a Dinosaur had a few more bad reviews than E.T. did. As a matter of fact, I believe that "Color a Dinosaur" was the worst NES game in existence. Overall, from what I calculated using the ratings from Gamefaqs, I'd say the average rating for Color a Dinosaur is 1.5/10, and the average rating for E.T. is 2.8/10. This sounds like an indication that Color a Dinosaur is indeed worse.

Actually, I had ET when I was little. I hated it at the time. It was extremely difficult, the controls were awkward and the goals were unclear. Having played it again in recent years, it really wasn't all that bad. It's flaws were not at all worthy of the revolutionary upheaval it generated (I've read mounds of the cartridges were burned in huge piles at dumps around the country). I've played much worse games on NES and I would much rather play ET than True Crime: Streets of LA, or, I'm sure, any other game based on thug culture and with a colon in the title. Certainly it was not the worst the Atari 2600 had to offer, and on re-play I actually kind of liked it.

When has a rating every proved that a game is worse of all time?

Reviews are nothing but opinions, I mean I own both games, and played each one once, but I ET to be worse. Also, I've seen ET voted as the worse game of all time, and it was on G4. So I don't know what to go with, a national vote for a bad game or 10-15 reviews? Which Gamefaq's has had BS reviews before. Either way its still opinions.

And by Gamefaq's, Superman 64 is worse game ever, that I've found. ;)

I agree with you about that, RevolutionDude. It is worse than Paint. It's also far worse than Mario Paint for the SNES. Color a Dinosaur was an excuse for a game. Not even worth it for the age group it was designed for. I feel that for them, it was a waste of their time.

I was wondering if anybody remembered that game. I don't have any memory of it since I never owned it nor rented it. I'm certainly glad about that.

Well, it was made for little kids, obviously. It may rock for them, but not for older kids and adults.
