i have not been able to get the bomb bag in goron city. the one where you are supposed to throw a bomb at the rolling goron as a child. i have hit him with a bomb but it did not seem to work. i do remember reading something that you have to stand at a certain spot when you throw the bomb but i'm not sure. does any one have any suggestions. thanks everybody, i know i've been asking a lot of questions

There is a sign that talks about that rolling Goron. Bomb the Goron near the Sign to get the Bomb Bag.

no, the bomb bag is in Dodongos cavern in a treasure chest, isnt it? You get it when you are young Link because you need it to enter the bosses lair and to kill the giant dodongo boss. The rolling Goron gives you a red tunic later so you can go into the fire temple as an adult. Stand away from those two bombs sitting outside the door and shoot one of them with an arrow when the goron rolls by. Its the easiest way to hit him.

cent208 was talking about a bomb bag upgrade, which you do get in Goron City by bombing a rolling goron.

I think this is the wrong thread but i don't care. in the dodongo's cavern, there's a gold skulltula in a room where baby dodongos pop up, and i can't get to it. I've tried playing the scarecrow song, and the song of time, i've tried the boomerang as a kid, and the longshot as an adult. could someone give me a little help, before i peel my scalp from my skull? oh yea its the one up on that super insanely high ledge to the left when entering.

You have to play the Scarecrow's Song, when Navi flies away and turns green at a certain spot, and make sure you're doing it as an adult.

thanks again everybody, The Zol, you were right, you have to bomb the goron in front of the sign. i actually tried it with a bombchu and it worked. i believe they make you bomb him in front of sign b/c there are 2 bomb flowers at the other side so could potentially stop him before you found the bombs in dodongo's cavern. what do you think?
