I've never had something that crazy happen in my game, though. Sounds kind of fun/freaky.

not to mention that weird thing where when fishing you get a pot or something ora boot and then an octorok shows up.. in the middle of a peaceful place. that scares me and only happened once.
Isn't it fun to totally make stuff up. >.>
Mario Jr., what you saw was not a Fairy healing Ganon. Sometimes when Ganon breaks bits of the arena with his blades, Fairies appear. You must of mistook one of them fluttering about for a Fairy healing him. Fair enough mistake but I know enough about game design to know that a Fairy healing Ganon is totally impossible.
Similarly, pots, boots(??) and Octoroks will never appear while fishing.

enchantedtoast, if I remember right, the last time I played Wind Waker the load error seemed to have stopped for me, too -- I hope so. I feel like playing it again, but I fear the load bug.

In retrospect, though, I suppose you would now agree that junk items can be dredged up, and Big Octos can take one by surprise, yes?
