Go to the dorm archives and browse through the old dorms and the Sanctuary. You should get a feel for what dorms are like by looking through there.

Basically, they're subforums that members are placed in upon request (if they have a particular number of posts). The dorms are meant to create kind of a kinship/family between their members, and we hold dorm competitions periodically, as well as the occasional dorm war. They're a lot of fun.

We'll discuss dorm names and all those other details later on, when Chik sets up the suggestion thread or whatever. These are the ones that the mods picked, because they liked them.

I like the idea of Forsaken Fortress, because it's nice to have something from TWW ... but I don't like having things from MM in it. Maybe something from OoT or LttP. But like you said, I'll wait for Chik's discussion thread.

Hey, Zythe. Your own sig shows OoT, then MM, then TWW a little after. Three games, and three dorms. The names were selected by some of the dorm mods themselves (not just on my own whim), and they give each of those three games equal representation.

But again...in about a week we'll start opening up the new Sanctuary to comments, and two weeks after that we'll see about opening them up totally.

Actually, I remember you telling me to can it since I babbled and rattled off about 50 names from all 11 games when you asked us for name suggestions.

But I meant mainstream to the series. Like, the main series is LoZ, LttP, OoT, and TWW. All the rest are side quests.

Don't forget - it can't be a CDi game either.

A zelda game is a Zelda game. It doesn't matter what any fous thinks about it or the importance of it - hell, there are pople who love the first four to death and call the rest "fakes," and there are those who like OoT and MM and....that's it. As far as we're concerned, if it's on a Nintendo console or handheld it's atrue Zelda game. Details and the importance of which is left to the Zelda sections, not here.
