Help needed to beat Dark Link

I had reached the great palace weeks ago. I had come to know its passages by heart, and was sick of the long journey there from North castle. Moas... One of the most annoying enemies ever, and how I hated them! And inside the palace - the insanely hard bird knights, the ropes, the bots... And the Thunderbird itself. I had fought it more times than I liked to remember. Now, though, though my energy and magic were at their lowest ebb, I had defeated it. A lucky stroke, some might say. But it lay dead behind me.
And now, the room was dark... But I made out an old man, and, behind him the triforce! Finally, I had won! But wait... What's that... Oh rats.
I can't beat Dark Link! I can't even land a hit on him! Please help me!

I know what you mean. Some rooms in that palace were surprisingly easy. But I suppose the hard part is not getting lost! Not to mention actually getting into the palace.
Congratulations on beating the hardest Zelda game, Showsni

Dark Link is a breath of fresh air. I've never had a hard time with him. Then again, I've beaten TAoL so many times, I can just about navigate the final dungeon by heart.

Just hit him with Biggoron's sword a couple of times, it works so damn well making it one of the easiest fights ever.
*zooms out to me, with a projector of Zythe posting this* And this kids, is why you always READ the post before replying. You wouldn't want to be laughed at, now would you? No. I didn't think so.
