I think I finally got the timeline down good. I havn;t found any flaws as of yet. Ok here goes nothing. By the way i had heard that four swords comes before ocarina of time so i have to assume minish cap comes first. anywho here we go. an arrow pointing down after a game shows when a new link is born.
1. Minish Cap-Shows the origins of Vaati so this comes before the other four swords game which was said to come before ocarina of time.

2. Four swords- Zelda has to explain that Vaati was sealed in the four sword so link has no idea who he is, therefore this must be a different Link.
3.Four Swords Adventures: game says this game comes directly after Four swords

4. Ocarina of Time- Im assuming that the ganondorf from four swords adventures is the same one here. Im guessing he broke the seal that Zelda used in FSA and showed up at the gerudo tribe. being the only man he took over.

5A. Wind Waker- It says in the storlyine that ganondorf returned to resume his dark designs but link never appeard cause no longer exists in the adult timeline as he went back to being a kid in the end of OoT.
6A. Zelda 05- Im assuming in this game they find a new land and found it as the new hyrule of the world. It has been officially announced that this is a sequel to wind waker right?

7A. Zelda 1- I say that this is next because in the child timeline ganon is defeated for good in link to the past. Plus in link to the past all the triforces are assembled and in this game they arent. Ganon mustve broken free of his stone prison underneath the ocean, found the triforce of power again and is using it in this one.
8A. Zelda II- this comes right after zelda 1. at the end Link assembles all the triforce pieces. this is why they are stored inside hyrule castle in the next game.
9A. Oracle of ages/seasons- this comes next cause this is the only place i can make sense to fit it. I realise that theres a boat that looks like the one in links awakening, but i think its only coincidence.

6B. Link to the past- Now this comes next becuase this is when ganondorf breaks free from his prison in the dark world. at the end Link makes a wish on the triforce causing them to scatter like they did in wind waker. the reason that they do not scatter and are placed in hyrule castle in the oracle games is because in Zelda II Link uses their power to wake zelda, not making a wish on them. That is why ganondorf can use the power of the triforce at all times when he has it, becuase he didnt make a wish on them, hes only using the power of em.
7B. Link's Awakening- and this game comes after link to the past cause it doesnt fit anywhere else and i think it says in the instruction manual that it comes right after it.

Ok then. Thats what i think the timeline is. I probably misses something along the way that i meant to include, so if you see any discrepencies just post and i'll try and explain what happened. Thanks for reasing this, i know it was long.

WHere do you place the backstory from AoL? And I don't really agree that OoT can possibly be the Imprisoning War.

Hmm....the Four Sword games most likely come before LTTP because of the remarkably similar geography, and because of the Timeline Split, Ganon retreats in the OOT Past and comes up with his FSA plan, assuming he had a long lifespan like his foster mother, Twinrova. As for AOL backstory, I'd put it centuries before LOZ for Triforce consistency.
Your theory about the Triforce's power is flawed as well. You say that the Triforce broke in LTTP, even though the same game claims that the Triforce serves someone as LONG AS THEY LIVE. In AOL, he made a wish on the Triforce. How else could he use it anyway? Anyway, Oracles Link isn't the same as AOL Link, since Oracles Link is YOUNGER than AOL Link and has a different hair color and face structure. The Triforce scattered in TWW because it was either A) part of his wish or B) he was dead, and he could only get one wish through some sort of loophole.

I agree that LoZ and Aol should be on Wind Waker Timeline.
