PART I
Name: Aridale Noblebrook Belmont
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 23 born November 3 1641 (for historical purposes =P)
Height: 5 11
Weight: 130 lbs
Hair Color/Style: Short dark brown with slight blonde mixed in. Straight and usually messy, unshaven most of the time. Not bearded but just scruffy.
Eye Color: Steel blue with an almost unnoticable twing of teal. Its a selling point to the ladies =)
Build: Athletic almost 70% Ambidextrous
Origin: Totally original but set in a special timeline of an established series with refrence to places, names etc of that series.
PART II
Strengths & Abilities: Hes just an ordinary guy. He has a strange... interest isnt the word... He hates them but has no idea why, toward undead and has power unknown to him to destroy them above that or normal mortals. He can fight but isnt particularly skilled with anything. Vast knowledge of whips and whipslinging from being a farmer most of his more adult life. Amazing leatherworker/crafter mostly from childhood tinkering and also from knowledge and uses of farm supplies.
Weaknesses: Hes just an ordinary guy. Hes not a super fancy badass that can leap into the air and do a bunch of fancy spins and flips while looking cool and killing hordes of... whatever needs killing at the time. I dont know if you could call it a weakness or not but he has no idea what his surname means in terms of bloodline and fate. Explained more below.
PART III
Biography: Now most people would ask: Why would a farmer become a hero of save the world from evil or certain doom? Well, its not because he wants to believe me. Its because he has no other choice. Most heroes arent born heroes coming from their mothers womb and slaying great evils and doing great things. Most heroes are made heroes from certain events in life shaping them into it. Where if the same events happened to some they might die. Or if they survived would be lost in a sense, unable to cope with what happened. And for others its the turning point in life where they are no longer just an ordinary person they have a clear and determined goal from that point forward. Aridale however isnt any of these.
Born the son of Lysander and Gennifer Belmont he was very young when the first event changed his life forever. The peaceful transylvanian countryside has always been host to an unspeakable force of evil. And it just happens that it was Aridales ancestors that have always been around to stop that evil for the time being. As things go in life over time fact slowly becomes heresay and then legend and then myth and then no more than a story to scare little kids into not straying far from home on dark nights. The distance in time between the occurances of this evil is often enough time for this process to take place. Since his great great grandfather Simon Belmont took his place in the lineage and stopped the evil the land has been at peace. Lysander had always hoped that that peace would last and possibly never have to end. It was the same wish any father would want for his only son, not to have see the things nightmares are born of. But such wasnt the case. Spottings of unexplained creatures and monsters of all kinds began more and more common. A few people in some smaller villages went missing. It was all unexplained and no one dared to risk life and limb to try to uncover why. As the attacks and sitings and dissapperances became more and more frequent it was no stretch of the imagination that something had to be done. One late cold October night Lysander set off to end the plague to his homeland. He never returned.
Gennifer was crushed to say the least. Aridale was still very young at the time and really knew nothing and understood even less of what was happening. In hope of saving her only child from the same fate she feared befell his father she never told him of his ancestors or his destiny that he was born with because of his bloodline. The name Belmont to him was nothing more than a last name and the hero in all the stories could never be agreed upon between tellers. Time and a mothers fear had erased the only links to his heritage.
Time passed on and the countryside became peaceful once again. No one knew how or why and no one cared. Aridale grew up working at a tavern close to his house and working the farm in his fathers place. When his mother took ill and eventually died she took with her the only information about his true bloodline and who he was and who his father was. From working on the farm day in and day out he became fit and strong. Tending to the cattle and using his fathers old whip made him exceptionally keen and agile in its use. He preferred it in his hand to any other weapon he had ever touched. To help make ends meet he took up his childhood tinkerings and because an exceptional leatherworker and general crafter. His leather goods were much sought after all throughout the surrounding area.
Life was going well for the young man but as the days grew shorter and winter loomed ever closer whisperings about evil creatures and monsters began to stir once again. Only a few slurred drunken tales at first but increasing in number what seemed like nightly. Little did he know that his fate was about to make itself known to him in the most non-discreet manner imaginable.

Not a bad start, but it still needs work.
1) Please redo strenghts/abilities - for you have details in it that are misplaced
2) How did his childhood affect him growing up?
3) How old was Aridale when his father went missing, and when his mother died?
4) What took place before the 'peace' returned to the village?
5) Please redo weaknesses - 'ordinary guy' doesn't fly with us
6) How did his craftmanship spread throughout the surrounding villages?
Approval pending ......

I dont really know how to address this question other than what Ive already put in below. No one knows what happened. If your familiar with Castlevania then you probably know about how "the evil" comes around every century or so unless somethin happens to bring him back early. Such was the case when Lysander had to do somethin. The problem being that only a certain Belmont each time is meant to put an end to it. My own Castlevania timeline exsists outside of the games actual events after Simon Belmont. When someone or something attempted to resurrect Drac early and his army of darkness because to stur again (thus the sitings and increase in them etc) Lysander wasnt the one fated to defeat him. As such it wasnt an actual confrontation with Drac himself that Lysander had but more his ghost or spirit before he could be fully resurrected. Because of his age (probably nearly 50 at this time) he stood little to no chance even against the very weak Lord of Darkness and died. He did however manage to kill whoever was trying to bring him back early before what was actually awakened of the count got him. Thats why the evil slowly started fading and peace returned. Without any way to finish the early resurrection and the toll it took to battle a Belmont Drac lost what little of him was present in this world and returned to hell or darkness or where ever it is something like that goes. Your guess is as good as mine. But thats why the peace slowly returned. No one knows how or why like I said below because no one was there to see it and of course Lysander died. This doesnt fit in with the bio below because Aridale himself doesnt know any of this (yet) and it really doesnt fit the context of rest of the bio which is about Aridale not his father. Hope thats enough info on that question for ya.4) What took place before the 'peace' returned to the village?

Time and a mothers fear had erased the only links to his heritage. Growing up without his father placed a burden of leader of the household on him at a very early age. While it forced him to grow up fast (even faster than what would have been considered "grown" by the standards of the time) it instilled in him a sense of self and purpose. He was independant and very self sufficent at a very early age and taking charge of the house, farm and his mother all came easily and naturally to him. Interaction with the opposite sex was never something that he had time for or ever came into play as he grew up. Of course he knew what attraction was and he took fancy to his fair share of the lasses as did they to him but because of his situation in life he had no time to seek to advance a relationship.
Time passed on and the countryside became peaceful once again. No one knew how or why and no one cared. He preferred it in his hand to any other weapon he had ever touched. When his mother took ill to help make ends meet he took up his childhood tinkerings and became an exceptional leatherworker and general crafter with what seemed to be a natural talent in the area. His leather goods were much sought after all throughout the surrounding area because of his ability to apply the leathers and fashion the intricate weaves and patterns with skill and style no one could match. Where as most leatherworkers centralized in an area of one or two specific items and mastered the production of them and nothing else, he could produce anything he could set his mind to all with the same skills that could be applied to a more concentrated area of the trade. He made leather tunics and aprons for butchers and blacksmiths and soft leather gloves and boots fit for a noble woman. He could take leather cut from the same hides and create a pair of reinforced vambraces or create a soft coat that would fetch enough to buy his farm three times over. He took great pride in his work but could never dedicate himself to it fully because his responcibilties on the farm and the tavern.

What I meant by the question is that, how/what did he feel when the peace returned. You can't help but wonder what happened, people just wont go on with thier normal lives and wonder who brought it back ...
Does that help clear my question up?

Does that help clear my question up?
Not really =/ He didnt really feel much of anything he was really young when all that happened. His mom never mentioned it cause she didnt want him to know anything about who he was because of fear of him comin up missin too or somethin and no one else any where near any of it to begin to question what could have happened. For all they know someone coulda saved the world or jesus coulda came and smited everything or hell coulda froze over. They didnt know and had no way of knowing. Any time his dad was mentioned his mom wouldnt tell anyone where he went or why she thought he didnt come back she just said he left her and Aridale behind and she didnt know where he went or what he was doin if he was even still alive. Thats all there is to it =/

Please insert the ^ post into the bio - for my question needs to be answered for another mod would ask the same thing. That is the only 'unclear' part in the bio and needs to be done so I can pass this submission. I'm trying to understand it, but that little details escapes it.
