Have all been banned this morning because of a serious of circumstances that leads us to believe they are all the same person, a member who has already been banned more than once before.

They insisted they were on tour in Texas when using an IP from around Georgia, two talked about "their huge age differences" when their profiles said they are only one year apart, had difficulty remembering their "band" name, seemed quite happy to respond to each other several minutes apart...constantly...and the latter four ONLY appeared after people started asking for details about Kalas.

None of them had messenger names, but all of them appeared on LA about ten minutes apart from the last, all after the AIM identity of Link/Samus signed on, and all disappearing from LA within minutes of that AIM identity signing off, on multiple occasions.

For anyone who wonders why we gained these suspicions in the first place, let's make it known- it's because their personalities, behaviour, way of using their net resources- were EXACTLY the same as that of Marth, Serra, Eliwood, and Roy. All four of those identities were banned as well for lying to admins, constantly changing their stories, and appearing several minutes apart from one another, all at the same time as Link's AIM identity signed on and signing off LA at the same time that AIM name disappeared.

The five identities we have just banned shared the IP of the four identities of Eliwood, Serra, Marth, and Roy.

For anyone who isn't getting the point- we're trying to say that ELIWOOD DID NOT EXIST. Anyone who has a "RIP Eliwood" thing in their sig would do better to take it out, or if you're still not convinced- at least bring it down to the sig limit. Some of those things are huge.

If there are any more questions on the matter, they may be addressed in this thread, and trust that all the admins (including DJ, LoS, Khuffie, Vet, and myself) knew about this and agreed to the banning, as well as several mods- and we have been watching the activity of all these individuals about since most of them joined LA.



And to make Lena happy- she wants Link to know that he 'sucks at being incognito'.

You're not going to believe me, but their posting manner was so similar, I thought the same thing. I was just afraid to say my opinions. That and I got them confused. So confused.

You're always free to PM an admin if you suspect someone is acting in a way that's offensive, rule breaking, or suspicious in any other way. I personally try to be on LA for at least a short period of time every day, and pay attention to all PMs and Admin e-mails members send.

We're here to serve you- not the other way around. Our purpose as admins is to make sure that LA is always the safest, most fun and friendly community possible. ^^;

Wow... I was kinda thinking the same thing when this person was using the Marth/Roy/Eliwood/Serra names. There was one incident when Roy "accidentally" posted as Marth (in the Singles Club thread), and that had me thinking.

NightStar is going to be really hurt by this...

She was in a dorm (CT if I remember correctly), but now she's no longer in a dorm, and there's no info about her in her profile.

What happened... am I being punished? I didn't even know those people really... All I knew was that they were posting. I still logged on today. Am I banned from Clocktown? This really hurts. If you're thinking I'm associated with them then you're seriously mistaken.

Ace: I took out my info because my mother started getting in my business and if she found out I had put out such personal info on the web... well she wouldn't be happy at all... I only did that as a precautionary. That's all.

I have no idea what happened to your account, Nightstar, except that when I went into it to put you back in Clocktown it had you set as "Validating" rather than a regular member. I'm sorry for whatever inconveniance you've had- but I have no idea how that happened. It should be back to you being in CT now. o.o

Catterick- yes, you're thinking of Coinilius, not Cornelius. Two different identities.

Chik... I'm quite sure that Eliwood was real. I used to be on a forum of Serra's for a while, and the two stories that were presented there and on LA match perfectly. They're a family, thats why they have the same IP address.

Roy told me on several occasions that they only had like one computer in their home.

The "living in a van" stuff that Kalas's group talked about was fishy all along to me. How would they get the internet and more importantly, how would that many people live together in a van?!

No reason to apologize- it was just bad timing like you said..I was more worried that you'd be upset in thinking this had happened because of something we did to you.

And either way, TJ- the IP addresses that the 'family' had were the same as those of this 'band', and they ALL only appeared when Link was online. Even if he did exist, and he died- the rest were constantly lying and changing their stories, and had no business doing that. It didn't help matters when we saw one of them log onto Eliwood's account after his 'death'.

I'm afraid the mods found prodigious evidence. The family isn't, wasn't, and probably won't be real.

I remember bringing this up with a few people from Wifi after Roy was banned. If Eliwood never existed then it was a dirty rotten trick to pull on people. Thats the main problem with the internet, lying is just too easy.

Just thought I'd mention that Kalas was put in Wifi like Roy, definitely a random coincidence.

There is another guy who keeps coming back and often bugs people on msn. One of his aliases is warrior of destiny. He usually logs in with "fanatic" in his username somewhere but never posts. I only mention this because I had him try to bug me on msn again (I just blocked him before he had the chance) but he may be bugging other people.

Besides, after Roy was banned, dead Eliwood signed onto his account (both were from WiFi and since Roy couldn't see it anymore, Eliwood was his only way).

If none of the stuff about Eliwood was true... then it was insanely horrible for him to post that stuff about his "death". I am deeply troubled. For a while there, I believed Roy, Eliwood, Marth and the rest of them. I suppose I am just too gulible.

Marty: I haven't had problems with the person you've mentioned, but, I was outright harassed by someone on AIM that said he was from around here. His user name was... well I forget. It was something like videogamefreak. Plus I blocked him and changed my privacy settings on AIM.

That sure sounds like him. Next time he bugs me I'll try to find whatever info I can about him and post it in the suggestions/help for the admins to deal with. I think they've tried to get rid of him before but he uses so many different account names and e-mail addresses.

I've never heard of Eliwood. I heard of Marth and Roy, and I noticed that usually whenever the now banned members were offline, that there tended to be a guest looking at the "Should Sety marry Marth" or something thread. I'm always checking who's looking at what, so I notice these things.
