i've gotten up to the part in the minish cap where you have to defeat vatti for the third time how do you defeat him

Hello. Welcome. Third time? Which form? What's he look like and what's his attack pattern. The game is pretty easy... so just make yourself clear and I'll help. If all else fails try www.gamefaqs.com for a tonne of free guides.

I don't remember exactly, but it involves shrinking down and going inside of his weapon? Something like that.

Oh that. Shoot his hand with the cane. Shrink. Go in. Kill bug with red eye. Repeat. Use clone pads, deflect blue beams. Slash Vaati. Repeat.

argh you made it alllll the way to the end without using a guide, and now your going to cheat? don't do it! There's only so much you can to do beat him, just try try try and you'll get it!

YOU could do all that but i think its simpler to kick him in the nuts.
