Well I hope they're right, I don't want it rushed, "Good things come to those who wait" and all that.

Even that's pretty soon, America should get it in the first half of the year.

That site is not a reliable place for release dates. Especially considering that they made it up on the spot - Nintendo hasn't even given a tentative release date, or even a release quarter, for the Japanese game.

So people would waste money reserving it.

To all you people who think it's January 10th...

See, the British, along with the rest of the world, use the sensible way of writing down dates. It goes from smallest (day) to largest (year). This follows the trend of you know, making sense, like how time is written. From the largest (hours) to smallest (seconds) with minutes in between. The Americans use a messed up system where the month is first (middle value), to the day (smallest value) to the year (largest value)

So that's not January 10th, that's October 1st. And it's most likely made up. Check out EBGames' listing: http://www.ebgames.c...duct/243453.asp

June 1st? Ya right ;).

World uses: Metric
USA uses: Imperial

Which I've always found funny, because even the British who invented the Imperial system don't even use it anymore.

And if that is the true date (which is probably isnt) then thats not too bad for Europe.

It'll probably be around October/November like OoT and MM (and when tWW should have) came out. After the wind waker (which I liked a lot) was rushed, I think the last thing Nintendo wants to do is rush this game.

We're meant to use metric. We're taught it in school. As soon as we hit the real world, there are so many 40-year-olds who're too stubborn to learn we all have to sit down for hours and become backwards compatible and learn pounds, ounces and miles. The way they add up don't make sense!

It's possible. They've been working on this game for at least five years, if not more. That demo from spaceworld 2000 was probably from this...
They didn't officially announce it until last year, because five or so years is just too long to wait. Besides, where would they get all the footage from if they had just started to make it? ;)

They made that mistake with Mario 128, they announced they were making it as soon as they began to.

That's not entirely true. The Chinese go from largest to smallest, so 2005/10/1 would be 1st October 2005.

We mustn't rush Nintendo. We mustn't complain about the release dates being so far away. If we complain enough, they will rush the game and we will end up with something horribly short and full of mistakes. Let them take their time.

In the meantime, we must complain about the previous games being too short and too easy. If we all complain enough, they'll listen and we'll end up with a game we can be proud to own and play.

Then shut the wimps up and dip them in boiling mustard! Then you can enjoy your horse-riding butt-kicking goblin in green!

EDIT: Oh...wait...I WAS one of those when MM came out! NO NOOOOOO!

Well, you said,

*Turns into Husse*

Hehe.

*Sees people pick me up by ankles and put me into a boiling pot of mustard, next to Husse*

Owe. Just great.

Don't complain, let them take their time! I'd LOVE a delay- we don't want another Wind Waker, do we?

You guys also use a standard measurment system, and sometimes even 50 Hz electricity! We, on the other hand, consume more hamburgers per capita than you can IMAGINE. I think it's clear why we rule the world.

Like I said its just different systems and Americans are the pretty much the last to use the Imperial system. And yes TWW was indeed very spiffy.
