So recently I got myself a Marvel Unlimited subscription. (It's basically Marvel comic Netflix if you're unfamiliar.)
I always love recommendations, but asking recommendations is kind of tame compared to just plain asking what your favorite stories are, and why.
I started at the beginning with the Amazing Spider-Man, the Uncanny X-men, and the Avengers. Of those three Spider-Man is definitely the best. There are lots of classics I intend to read. I love seeing the slow transformation from their basic elements to what we think of the characters today. It's fascinating.
Aside from the retro as fuck, I've been reading Ms. Marvel. Kamala Khan is adorable and Marvel's most relatable hero in some time. The whole first arc her comic went through had me so emotional.
I also sped through Matt Fraction's 2012 Hawkeye series. I had no idea Kate Bishop was a thing. She is fucking so awesome. Something about these modern girl power characters, it's just awesome.

Come talk Marvel comics bruhs.

I adore that run of Hawkeye, everything about it is so choice. I still don't know if I have it in me to read on beyond Fraction's part of that series because it broke my heart when I heard he left it to pen Sex Criminals.
