I hope it does well. I've been wanting to buy and play overwatch but it is low on my list. Getting caught up on my back log of games.
Overwatch has been the reason I have been ignoring my back log. (Someday Fire Emblem, some day...)
Still, my friend has the game on PC but I'd love the chance to play with him IF they find a way to make cross-play smoothed out.

As I'm typing, Adrienne is playing Overwatch. The entire enemy team spontaneously stopped fighting, and now every single person on both teams is sitting around saying hi to each other and spamming their character emotes. The match has fallen apart. Unspoken friendship has taken over. The game is broken.
There is no battle. There is only love.
No one has completed any objectives, so the match is locked in indefinite overtime.
update: Now they are all hopping in circles like happy rabbits.
update 2: They are now all playing jump rope with Mercy's heal beam.
update 3: All four D.Va's in the match are trying to stack their mechs on top of each other.
update 4: 3 out 4 D.Va's have the video game emote and are using it as a group, sitting next to each other. The fourth is watching them in sorrow and jealousy.
update: 20 minutes in. A few accidentally lagged out, and their new replacements are threatening the peace.
update: A McCree killed everyone on the other team, match over. Friendships ruined.

That was from TF2, during the days that Red and Blue realized they weren't that different after all. Still, Overwatch is basically TF3 so it's only natural that this works so well.
