I've just had my first bowl of granola.

I honestly don't know what the fuss is about. It wasn't as life-changing as pulled pork or salted caramel. I feel like I've been sold a lie. A lie of Yakult proportions.

it's not bad as a more wholesome cereal substitute either. But yeah granola + yogurt + fresh fruit = yum

Well, I'm not a woman so I don't have yoghurt, natural or otherwise, readily available.

Who told me to put it in a bowl? Why, common sense of course! Breakfast item + milk = bowl. Unless there's new crockery that I don't know about. That's it, isn't it? It's not just granola, it's everything that comes with it. It's a lifestyle.

I was right. It's Yakult all over again.

I've just had my first bowl of granola.

You should've known that granola is American for flapjacks. To make it more confusing what Americans call flapjacks is something else.

Crunchy plants!

Nah, put some of it on vanilla yogurt with some fruit and cinnamon and it's pretty good. From what I remember. It's nowhere near as amazing as salted caramel, though, so don't get your hopes up. In the US, they sell little ready-made yogurt and granola parfaits in grocery stores for a quick snack or breakfast. Don't know about over there.

I didn't realize people were meant to be that excited about granola. Even in sweetened granola bars, it's just... meh.

Yeah I think the appeal is mostly that it's filling and convenient, and crunchy.

Oats. A thing horses eat in England and men eat in Scotland. Hmm.

To be honest, I don't love granola that much. It's not bad, it's not great, it's just something to munch if you're hungry.
