It needed to be done.

 

I ended up having a Zelda-themed Christmas. We stayed the night with our friends last night, and everyone received a new set of pajamas, because traditions. XD Mine are green footie pajamas that have been altered to make them into Link's outfit. I'm not going to post a picture yet because they ran out of time and there are still some things that need to be added. XD The goal was to wear our pajamas while we stayed up all night wrapping presents. After I put mine on, they asked me to go get a black bag from the other room but stopped me on my way out and said, "It's dangerous to go alone! Take this," and I was half expecting someone to be

handing me one of the cats, but it was actually this, which one of them cut out of a piece of wood and painted:

which was already really cool, but then once I retrieved the black bag, they told me to open it:

And then today we opened the rest and there was another very noteworthy item:

Also, we got a new Blu-Ray player, and I got a pair of regular fleece pajama pants, some fleece socks, delicious snacks, desktop bowling (with a rubber band ball XD), some face masks, a couple of bracelets made from pretty stones, a kitty paperweight, a metal wallet, one of the Phantom Hourglass gacha things (Tetra was in it), and a few other small things. Tomorrow we are going to see Pogo's family, so we will probably get a little bit more stuff. I'm not sure how I ended up with all this stuff, because none of us have any money. XD

Considering how little money we have for non responsible stuff here, it's always pretty amazing and great how we're able to get each other stuff for Christmas as well as for others. I'm always thankful for or what I get, and more and more, that I'm able to get something for my family and friends.

Anyway, got a couple nice video game art books/lore compendiums, the Dragon Age: World of Thedas Volume II that covers Inquisition and the newer things brought up the it and the newer novels, as well as the Abstergo Emloyee Handbook for Assassin's Creed Unity. The latter is kind of just a goofy in-universe item for someone who works at Abstergo's game department from Black Flag, though it centers on Unity. Got a few trade paperback comic collections as well, shown here is Batman Beyond 2.0 Volume I, and I also got Rage of the Dinobots and Beast Hunters from Transformers. Rounding out the books I also received Project 731 and Project Hyperion by Jeremy Robinson, two not that great but entertaining giant monsters wreck everything novels.

Media, I got it a little early, but I got Xenoblade Chronicles X CE, with the surprisingly nice art book (since I'm used to pack in art books being only a few pages long) and the USB soundtrack shaped like....those monolith key things from Xenosaga, whatever they're called. Got the complete Batman series on blu ray, which is awesome, as well as Birdman and Kingsmen.

As pointed out in the Misgivings thread, wisp got me a Pokeball cap and Vaati blind packed figurine. Got a new knife for use in the kitchen, various Christmas themed candies and chocolates, A pair of pajamas, some shirts, and a couple gift cards.


....oh, and I also got the four Combaticon limbs (Swindle, Blast Off, Vortex, and Brawl) as well as the Dino Charge Purple, Aqua, and "Carnival" Red Rangers.

And one more, I got the Covenant of Primus, which is just the in-universe Bible in Transformers, rewritten so us puny humans can comprehend it. It's what it is, but the best part about it is the case it comes in.

Yesterday we got back from the rest of Christmas. From family, I got:

 

A glasses stand that's a hand-carved wooden owl

A set of 4 coffee/tea mugs

Box of assorted teas

Gingerbread house kit that my stepson picked out and is actually Hanukkah themed but is actually super good because I love Hanukkah colors lmao

New slippers

Coloring book and colored pencils

A few assorted stocking stuffers

 

Got home and finished my Very Zelda Christmas with a package from Rova on the front step. Someone had come along and opened it with a box cutter and dumped it out, probably hoping for electronics or diamonds or something, but luckily nothing was stolen or ruined. Rova gave me a Couple's Mask pendant and a framed picture that's The Great Wave off Kanagawa but with Link sailing the King of Red Lions through it.

I got a pretty watch that I've been lusting after,

two coats (haha greaaat),

a milk foamer for cappuccinos and shit, 

a DRUM MACHINE, 

and a new robe.

 

I still have a few more gifts I guess. I haven't gone to the post office yet for my Misgivings present haha. Tomorrow... And then I will probably get some stuff from Evan's family when we go down there.

I just asked my boyfriend for money, because I'm very hard to shop for. With it, I got Japanese Baseball mascot merchandise! Photo books, DVDs, a CD, and a picture book. So cool!
