Yeah, Facebook, along with other types of social media, really have taken over the space that traditional anonymous web forums used to occupy. Granted, there are still many large communities out there, many others have lost a lot users to social media. It has become an unfortunate reality that we live in.   :\

Forums are a means for use to express our geekery at length in an atmosphere where we won't be judged for our obsessions. Also a good place to rant in private about our commoner friends on social media.
