Terrible news. Christopher Lee has died at the age of 93.
An incredibly proflific actor who has appeared in many of my favourite films and television series. I won't claim all of the productions he acted in were fantastic (many weren't - if someone can spot a pattern in the roles he accepted share it with the rest of us), but Lee was always watchable. He also appeared in several truly great films: the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit, Gormenghast (TV series), the Wicker Man, Gremlins 2, Sleepy Hollow, and many many more.
