OK, so a few months back Cartoon Network released a miniseries that was created and produced by a fella who worked on Flapjack (Patrick McHale). Two brothers lost in the woods, trying to get home. Kinda surreal like Adventure Time but in a more conservative world. Basically, watched the whole thing this evening and OH MY GOD I LOVED IT. The whole thing is about 10 episodes long, features the voices of Elijah Wood and Christopher Lloyd with John Cleese and Tim Curry.

Seriously, it's totally worth it.

I have to admit I was quite hesitant to watch this because it was made by the creator of Flapjack - terrible show IMHO - however I like it.

 

I really like how they portray the two brothers - they really act like siblings.  It was almost like watching my brothers and I when we were younger.

I'm going to agree with Rova, Flapjack had some really awesome moments but to each their own. McHale didn't create Flapjack though, he worked on other stuff in the shows production.

I... I tried. And I really like it, but the extreme zoom is super bothersome to me. I can't help but wonder what's going on that got cropped out.
