I have just purchased The Legend of Zelda - The Minish Cap for my 8 year old son. He has managed Level 1 with no problems. Can anyone please help him to get to level 2 Mt. Crenel. He apparently needs to purchase something from someone in a cave, but he can't get there. He is well and truely stuck. All he is doing is walking around the village and getting nowhere. I have tried to help, but unfortunately gaming is not my thing. Can anyone please please help as soon as possible.

Find the cave in the field left of Hyrule town, there's a cave there, I suggest bombing the right wall where it looks slightly strange to get the item from another deku scrub.
I could be slightly wrong, but I think that's it.

Hi many thanks for that. He has found the deku scrub in the cave and purchased an empty bottle from him. But now the scrub is saying that he ain't got nothing else to sell......any more suggestions?

Leave the cave and go north... When you get to a tree, a bunch of rocks, and paths leading off in different directions, go west. You'll appear at the base of Mt. Crenel.

He's found the base of Mt. Crenel but he can't get any further cos he needs the 'handy tool'. When he tries to get the handy tool from the scrub it just says 'I ain't got nothing to sell'

The bottle is the special item. Use it on some water and then pour the collected water on a bean stalk to make it grow.

I have just spent 4 days trying to catch all the chickens! (Couldn't find the third one on the find three in 55 seconds though) thinking this would help me climb mount cre. I read in the forum about collecting water in the jar and pouring it on the bean shoot. THANK YOU THANK YOU - I can get some sleep now and stop complaining to my husband that I'm stuck! JOJO
