Alliteration, ho!!!!!

 

So, yeah.  I'm not much for music, but I guess I'll post what I enjoy.  And what I enjoy tends to be all over the map.  With the exception of one band that I feel I genuinely love now.  Rush.  I was introduced to the likes of "Spirit of the Radio" and "Tom Sawyer" through mainstream media, then a few years back, a friend hooked me up with about 80 of their songs that I would listen to, while working at the office.  Like me, their style goes all over the place as years go by, but I seem to find favorites all over the place too.  So let's start with one of their more recent works.

This next one is a special one for me.  I honestly didn't get much into music until I got my own car (a hand-me-down 1992 Volvo 240 from my mom).  It was then that I started listening to modern rock more than anything else and the first time I heard this, I was blown away by its feeling of epicness.  I don't know about people's opinions of Greenday nowadays, but I know that I love this song.

Well, it's Christmas day.  And rather than leave a video that's a standard Christmas Carol (my favorite would probably be "O, Holy NIght") or a modern Christmas radio song (the doo-wop version of "White Christmas"), I thought I'd leave one of the few songs that is inherently spiritual that I just love (which is very rare)
