Finby has been trying to get me to start one of these. So I suppose I will.
Anyone that hops into Turntable with me knows I love Queens of the Stone Age. June saw the release of a new album. It is fantastic. This may be my favorite track.

A portion of Daft Punk fans have been displeased with Random Access Memories. The album is, well, disco. It is also fantastic. After Human After All it was clear the duo were running out of steam. This newest album, however, is loaded with the energy that was ever present in Discovery. The result is an album full of songs I can't help but move my body to. And Lose Yourself To Dance just may be my favorite.

Gill Landry's Mexico is a track I discovered thanks to Pandora. A little folk-ish Americana ditty; definitely not my usual. Due to the lyrics, I very much associate this song with a person no longer in my life. It makes the beauty of this track shine all the brighter.

I adore The Seatbelts. The soundtrack is one reason why Cowboy Bebop is as amazing as it is. This particular track feels like it was designed for me to hear it. The lyrics always inspire me to not give up on myself.
