I guess because of the update, the BBCode is acting different now... If you're using the BBCode mode, the spoiler tags and the country flag codes don't work if you type them in all caps, but they do work if you type them in lowercase. If you're using the text editor mode, it works whether you use all caps OR lowercase... I was also having trouble with URLs earlier but I can't seem to recreate it.

It also made quotes look weird on the pony skin... Past quotes look ok, but quotes used since the update look like this:

 

 

 

If you hadn't seen the posts the quotes came from you wouldn't know where the quote ends and the person's post begins. D:

Fixed the quotations issue for the ponies skin and the default IPB skin. In the future, though, I may not be able to fix everything with the ponies skin, and we may have to retire it... it's getting quite old, and there are a lot of things that could go wrong with it...

 

 

Hana, no clue about the caps vs uncaps thing. I think it may have to do with the new rich text editor introduced in the update. I'd recommend using all lower-case tags in the meantime.

Yup appears to work. Here's what I typed:

 

 

Sidenote - I can never remember if the spoiler tag is pluralized or not. Perhaps I should just make both work. x.x

Thanks Toan! I could have just switched to using lowercase but I'm sure the fix will save a lot of others from frustration!

Oh I know - we're using a newer version of the same skin, and that looks to be an intentional styling change made by the skin designer. If you guys don't want it, it's a 10 second task to remove it. Thoughts?

It did look nicer beforehand but overall it doesn't really matter to me whether they're there or not.

Well, it's doing it again. Spoilers and country codes in caps don't work. But only in BBCode mode (triggered with light switch button)

I guess it doesn't matter, I'm probably the only person who insists on typing with BBCode mode anyways.

I've been noticing the quotes have been acting funky for me lately, too.
