I was sitting in a group in class and we were all sharing a piece of paper. I was looking at it, but it was upside-down to me. One of the group members was like, "Oh, do you want me to flip it around so you can read it?" and I was like, "No, I can read it, it's fine."

Then everyone went on to say that they were impressed because they couldn't read upside-down.
I found it as a surprise because I thought most people could read upside down. I can read it, but it takes me a little bit more time to read it.

SO I'M ASKING YOU, LA.
Can you read upside down?

EDIT: Also I ask this because apparently everyone here (at school) can't read upside down. At least everyone I have asked.

Reading upside down is easy, try backwards or sideways.

I can read a mirror image too, it just takes me a LOOONG time.
Sideways is a bit of a challenge too.

I can read upside down at about two-thirds the speed I can normally.

I can read sideways (looking at a row of characters from a parallel not perpendicular perspective) and backwards but it takes quite a bit longer.

I have to agree with you Kissy...I always thought a lot of people could do it too until I was proven wrong by teachers, classmates and fellow colleagues.

Not quite, the letters need to be sideways too. Adds more of a challenge.

I can read upside down, backwards, sideways, or mirrored text easily... Backwards AND upside down is a little trickier, but I can manage it too.

But reading sideways is the easiest aside from normal, for me... You can't read the spine of a book or DVD without tilting your head? o.O

Reading upside down is easy. Backwards too. Mirror, it takes me a little longer to figure out. As for sidways, I'm not sure what you mean.

Sideways would basically be turning a book 90 degrees or Hana's example of DVD cases. Personally, I think upside down is easier than sideways, but neither of them are too difficult. :P

On DVD's it's easy. I mean like, reading a book on a table but it's sideways to you. It's only hard when there's a lot of text cuz then I get the lines mixed up.

Ok, this makes me feel better.
Except it makes me think the people here are either lying or lazy or I don't know.
Almost every person in my class where we have to look at a paper and share it, they almost always say, "Turn it around, I can't read upside down."

I flip it because I'm awesome and can read upside down.
People here are just noobs.

I can read upside down no problem. Same with in a mirror/ through paper. So long as the font is something I'd easily be able to read normally (like Arial or Times New Roman) and the print's not microscopic, easy. Somewhat slower than normal, but easy.

It's reading somebody else's handwriting upside down that gets tricky.

We're all awesome upside down readers, in other words. :D

Let me check how good I am at mirror reading...

Yeah, okay, a little slower than normal.

Upside side down mirror writing! I'm a bit slower still. Also, I've been staring at mirror writing too long and now this normal writing looks weird.
