You this thing? This face thing? You do?

I can't.

ಠ_ಠ

I'm not sure what it is, my computer not having the characters or maybe it's another issue. But it breaks my heart that I can't see this emote face. Can we make a smiley or something so those of us who are less fortunate can enjoy making this face without it looking like two squares with an underscore?

I don't know how, so I copy paste. I can it, though.

That sucks, man. Can you even Hanyuu's horns?

If you can't see it, how can you type it? *rubs chin in suspicion* [For what it's worth, it appears to be based on Indian symbols. So if you download an Indian script packet/file, perhaps that will help?]

But I digress.

It's a specific font that on older OS's is not installed or recognized by default. I had to go out of my way to install it on my Mac when I wanted to see it on reddit way back when. Here's a link to where you can obtain it: http://web.nickshank.../fonts/kannada/

But how do you type it? Has it always been copy paste? How did it originate? Is it a self-fulfilling time loop?

In Windows you can find and use any character with the Character Map. It's in Programs>Accessories>System tools.
Also every character has a Unicode value... which has a correlating HTML code for it. So you could do it manually if you have the code memorized.

Try typing in
& # 3 2 3 2 ; _ & # 3 2 3 2 ;
without any spaces.

I seem to remember that in certain word processors if you hold alt and then type in sequences of numbers and or characters it sometimes will create seriously funky characters.
