[Spirit Adept]

So, like I said in the 'Suggest an RP' thread, I wanted to start up a Mass Effect RP. And also like I said before, I'm kind of lacking a fully developed plot. I'm sure something interesting will pop into my mind over the next few days eventually, but until then getting some outside input would definitely be helpful. I do have some ideas to get started with though.

Things I definitely want (and don't want) to see:

• Takes place a little while after Mass Effect 3, long enough so that the mass effect relays have been repaired, war repairs on the planets are well on their way and mostly done, and galactic life has returned to normal for the most part.
• During the war with the Reapers, Shepard amassed the full might of the galaxy to fight off the Reapers. Shepard managed to develop and distribute a cure for the Genophage, save the Rachni queen, broker peace between the Quarians and Geth, and chose to give up living in order to take control of the Reapers to end the war.
• Said Reapers have retreated back into dark space in order to allow everyone to move on with their lives.

Also, I'd like to not have any canon characters or descendents/friends/family/etc. of canon characters be a large part of the story, either by being used by an RPer or having strong connections to an original characters. Of course they are still around, Alliance personel might receive orders from Admiral Hackett, Krogens might of helped out Wrex, or ex-Cerberus scientists might of been saved by Jacob. I just prefer to RP with original characters whose concept isn't built around being connected to someone established in canon.

I know I'll be having a Quarian character with a Geth in her suit. Delphi (who will be joining in) will have a human character with biotics.

Part of me would like to see a whole new cast of characters and have it be set a little after Mass Effect 3 as well. I feel like just starting off fresh with a new cast and being able to see another main character, perhaps one that is not as decorated as Shepard. What I mean is Commander Shepard's personality be it Renegade or Paragon comes from an event that happened off camera (obviously stemmed from what back story you gave him/her). What I would like to see is a main character who you get to know from the ground up. His/Her's back story right in front of you and you get to watch that person grow as a character as this new kind of series grows on. Commander Shepard was a great character but they don't really change significantly throughout the series as a whole. Renegade Shepard is still the "I do what I must because I am the only one with enough balls to do it." from ME1 to ME3 as the same for Paragon Shepard's "We don't NEED to shoot each other, I have HONOR and I keep my promises and I love my comrades".

Garrus can calibrate me any time he wants
