It's Zelda. You expected them to avoid time travel paradoxes? Consider Ocarina of Time - time travel is so messed up there, that you can open a chest in the future and then go back to the past and find it open!
Really? I don't seem to recall that one.
And yeah, MM's time travel was completely crazy-go-nuts. Kudos to Termina's Goddess of Time.
