and no, we don't think you guys are so awesome that we had to have a product declaring your coolness.
I think the 'cool' part of Cool Ranch refers to the ... temperature? of the taste, not what people think of it.

I've never really understood why cool was part of the name though, I've never thought the taste was all that cool. Kinda the opposite. @__@
REGARDLESS, I am dying laughing at those pix. I can't really tell what the American sauce is supposed to be.

Does a search...
Asda's: 1 product called ranch dressing and 1 called ranch sauce and American sauce breaks the search engine (then again, asda is owned by Walmart)
Sainsbury's: 1 product called Ranch dressing and a search on American sauce just confuses the search engine
Tesco: 2 products down as Ranch dressing and 0 products called American Sauce.
Waitrose: 3 Ranch dressing products and a search on American sauce kind of brings up everything
Co-operative: Uh... can't seem to search the site and yes, the Co-op is the only British supermarket that also does coffins.

Well regular ranch I find a bit more zesty. Cool ranch is the same sans the zest, IMO.
