Wait, is this going to be a game or is this just a fan created level?

Here, let me link you to the website. I wouldn't get my hopes up because I've never really seen many Zelda projects go on to completion, but it is supposed to be a fan-made version of the scrapped 64DD expansion to Ocarina of Time. There's going to be lots more temples than that. Like an Ice Temple:

Apparently, here is a full list of dungeons that the expansion will contain:

~Young Hero Dungeons~
DeepWood Shrine
Turtle Rock Cavern
Lakebed Grotto
Temple of Light

~Adult Hero Dungeons~
Palace of the Marsh
Palace of Darkness
Palace of the Earth
Palace of Ice
Palace of Wind
Palace of Souls

~Last Dungeons~
Tower of Fate
Pyramid of Power

I would suggest keeping an eye on that site. Once they're done, they're going to release a patch for the Ocarina of Time Master Quest debug rom, plus the specific emulating program you need to play the game.

You're an evil man. Raising my hopes then dashing them to the ground.

Fan games are cool and all, but I've seen many start and peter out in my years as a Zelda fan.

Yeah, I came here with the thought of a TP sequel or something on my mind.

Ah well.

Wow. Just Wow. For a fan project this is rather amazing. I hope they'll release it, but you know what I really want? To see this and its dev tools on the Wii U.

No. Seriously. The Wii U is rumored to be coming with an online marketplace which undercuts PSN and XBox live; small developers will receive a much larger cut of the revenues. If this is good quality and there's no chance anyone will confuse it with an official Zelda title, a fan petition could really put a fan works marketplace on the Wii U. Fans would take this as a love-letter from Nintendo. And these guys would make a little bit of money.

Besides, Nintendo's released simple schlock for Zelda, too. *Link's Crossbow Training*

Saw this a while ago thanks to Zelda Informer. I think it's pretty neat.

That's what I thought, although in a way, it's going to be a bit like that Zelda Satellaview thing, in that you don't play as Link.
