I'm bored, and I've seen this on another forum. How productive have you been today?

Apart from the obvious got up/went to bathroom/took shower/got dressed

-Mailed out thank you cards
-Unloaded dishwasher
-Loaded dishwasher (not enough to run it yet)
-Cleaned kitchen
-Picked up living room
-Double checked diaper bag to make sure I have everything I need in it
-Cleaned both bedrooms
-Cleaned bathroom

Uhh...well...

I mopped the kitchen
I read about a third of The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
I spent about three hours researching ghost ships on das intrawebs. The wikipedia articles alone will give me nightmares.
I put my pants on and KEPT them on. I don't know why that appears to be an accomplishment, but it does.
I took a two hour nap because I haven't been sleeping well.

I CONQUERED these past few days.

Worked for 29 hours straight.

Solved a ongoing dilemma with one of our patients, and through 1:1 I broke his behavioral habits and found a method that was both easy on staff and safe for him. The nurse said I "earned my gold sticker for the night." :lmao: Also, I found an as needed method to help redirect a very challenging behavioral pt who was placed on high risk. It's working so far!

Volunteered for EMS immediately after the end of my shift in Hospital from 6p to 6a. Started EMS shift from 7a to 6p. Ran a call where we watched a house burn to the ground. :( Everyone made it out alive, but they lost everything.

Partner and I took some off time to walk around the downtown to get to know the people a little more, and to try to keep ourselves awake...
We were both maintaining proper presentation, but it was a bit upsetting to see how nervous some folks act when we're around or talking to them. :(

My hubby also gained his Red belt in Tae Kwan Do! He'll keep training to get his Red/White by the end of this fall! I'm so proud of him!

I also got approved for a credit card; now I can work on getting my credit score higher than 780!

Sent off sample pages to the agency that was interested in me. Their servers wouldn't take my .doc file for some reason, so had to resort to using .rtf. First time I've dusted off WordPad in like ten years. It was awful and we shall not speak of it again. If they're still interested, maybe we'll work out a way to fix whatever went haywire. Nobody's ever had trouble opening up my .docs before!

Can't you save stuff as Rich Text Files in Microsoft Word?

Yes, but I do not have Word, because Office is like $150 and I need that money for food.

I use OpenOffice, which always seems to screw up .rtf formatting. But I've never had any trouble with .docs before, either saving or opening, so it's just weird.

Yeah, I've never been a big OpenOffice guy either. I have Word 2000 so I just use OpenOffice to convert the .docx from teacher websites into .doc and edit them as I please in Word.

Completely emptied out the garage that had stuff piled to the rafters, threw so much of it away, cleaned it up, and put it back in. I can actually walk in it now :3:

I've had this difficulty with school files before; .doc is a proprietary format which OpenOffice has to guess on a few things. I'm not dead certain, but I think page numbering makes Word break down crying if it tries to open an OpenOffice .doc.

If you can find a copy of MS Office 2007 starter, I do have a key that I'm not using, but technically it's non-transferable.

Accomplishments, huh? Hmm...

I got to level 26 in Dragon Nest SEA!
I lost at about a 32 win streak on the Super Multi Train in Pokémon White (I blame Hilda - her Excadrill had one of the worst movesets I've ever seen)
I helped strip the wallpaper in my parents room.

I got to level 20 on my Necromancer in GW2 and got as far into my personal quest as the Beta allows! ;d

I'm jealous of Ben's though, he's already like level 35 and has the coolest skull mask/helmet evar. ;__;

I almost completed the Rube Goldberg group project due on Friday, and spent an hour leveling up to 62 in LOTRO and running around in Runescape for kicks. Might get a chance to actually play SS after exams, if my friend can lend it to me.

I managed to get to act four on my big boss emblem run on MGS4. The problem now is I am stuck on crying wolf, and since I decided to go with my previous attempt, I am down on my chaff grenades compared to my more recent try (my more recent try ended up taking waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long in the first two acts.)

-Got dressed in something OTHER than sweatpants
-Unloaded the dishwasher
-Reloaded the dishwasher
-Ran the dishwasher
-Made lunch
-Cleaned up around the house (you would think the boys would help, but noooo)
-Remembered to put my Kindle on the charger (a bigger accomplishment than it should be)!

Now I'm about to unload the dishwasher again (We really don't have as many dirty dishes as it sounds, just big dishes and a small dishwasher), reload, and run.

Totally cleaned my armor. Got the rust off, polished it a bit, then applied some rust protection. Took me a good two hours.

^ Hearing about the above all day has been a tad annoying.

But as an LA resident it's definitely worth it just to rub it in The Dude's face ;)

How does it feel to lose to a team from a place without a speck of natural ice all year?

I had no dog in the fight as I'm an Oilers fan, I'm just pissed that Scuederi did a gutless thing like turning on a hit to make sure they got the victory. LA is a good team, not a great team. They are just lucky they got NJ in the final (easily the weakest team to make the final in the past 10 years) if it had been the Rangers LA had faced they would not have won.

Successfully united the Kingdoms of Aragon and Castille and expanded my influence and power into the western Mediterranean. Oh wait, that was a game and I have not done any of the important things that needed to be done today other than sleep.

Goddam.
